When Gavin returned, Amelia was sitting up on her bed. Gavin placed his phone on her table and joined her in bed.

"Why did she call?" Amelia asked.

"To officially break up. Didn't even remember that I was still in a relationship," He laughed.

Amelia smiled. "Well, you both are over and that's a good thing."

A smirk curled his lips up and he pulled her to him. The tiny sleeve of her night dress slipped down her shoulder and Gavin peeled the other one off, setting her bare breasts free.

"What are you doing, Gavin?" she asked, her voice coming down to a whisper.

Gavin bent low and kissed her shoulders. "Celebrating my break up with the former CEO of Jewel Goddess."

That gesture had Amelia closing her eyes. Gavin still had a way of making her squirm with desire even after being annoying and irrational. His touch had her forgetting every of her worries.
