Yang Xin's Negotiation With Nie Li

As the days passed, the absence of Ye Ziyan from the academy became conspicuous. Her grounding had kept her away from classes, and it had an unexpected ripple effect.

Alan and Xiao Ning'er, close friends of Ye Ziyan, also decided to skip their academy sessions. Alan had a convincing argument for this.

Alan spoke seriously, "Ning'er, why bother going to the academy when we can spend quality time together? The real world offers far more valuable experiences than those dull lectures."

Xiao Ning'er, secretly delighted by the prospect of more time alone with Alan, readily agreed.

Xiao Ning'er nodded her head and spoke, "You're right, Yue. Let's make the most of our time together."

Though Xiao Ning'er held no ill feelings towards Ye Ziyan, she cherished her moments alone with Alan. Her affection for him ran deep, and the idea of being with him was undeniably appealing.

Alan, determined to make their time together worthwhile, focused on helping Xiao Ning'er with her cultivation. He knew that her potential was immense, and he was eager to see her grow stronger.

Each day, they ventured into the wilderness to face the ferocious Demon Beasts.

Alan stood back, his gaze fixed on the distance, as Xiao Ning'er engaged in combat with the creatures. He was always vigilant, ready to intervene if her life were ever in danger.

However, he refrained from interfering in her battles unless absolutely necessary.

Xiao Ning'er's combat prowess improved rapidly under Alan's guidance. She fought fiercely, pushing her limits, and her skills sharpened with every encounter.

Meanwhile, back at the academy, Nie Li and his friends were making remarkable progress. Lu Piao and the others had reached the peak of the 2 Star Bronze Rank, while Du Ze had ascended to the peak of the 4 Star Bronze Rank. Nie Li, on the other hand, concealed his true strength, maintaining the façade of a 1 Star Bronze Rank cultivator.

Alan, however, suspected that Nie Li's actual strength far exceeded what he let on, possibly reaching the 4 or even 5 Star Bronze Rank.

After the Year End Examination, Nie Li and his friends dispersed to spend time with their respective families.

Nie Li, in particular, returned to the Heavenly Marks Family's land, where he could continue his cultivation and reconnect with his family.

A couple of days swiftly passed, and a significant development took place at the Heavenly Marks Family. Yang Xin, the stunning and brilliant woman, arrived at the family's land.

She was accompanied by a contingent of Gold Rank guards, a clear display of her status and the importance of her visit. 

s one of the youngest and only female directors of the Alchemy Association, Yang Xin carried an air of authority and respect that was hard to miss.

However, there was a secret hidden beneath her confident facade that nobody in the world knew. Yang Xin was, in fact, Alan's slave.

This fact was concealed from the prying eyes of society, and she played her role flawlessly.

Nie Li, with a gracious smile, extended his hand in welcome. "Director Yang Xin, it's an honor to have you here at our humble abode. Please, make yourself comfortable."

Yang Xin reciprocated the gesture with a polite nod, her expression serene. "Thank you, Young Master Nie Li."

Nie Li led her into the main hall, where they could discuss their business in private. As they settled around a table, Nie Li wasted no time in addressing the matter at hand. "Director Yang Xin, I'm deeply grateful for your assistance."

Yang Xin's visit to the Heavenly Marks Family was not a mere courtesy call; it was orchestrated by Alan. The guards that accompanied her were a silent testament to her mission – to protect Nie Li and his family.

"Director Yang Xin, I have three more elixir formulas with me," Nie Li spoke with a calm tone, "However, I have a request before I present you with those three formulas."

"What is it?" Yang Xin asked.

With a sigh, Nie Li spoke again, "Director Yang, there is one matter I hope you can help me with. The Heavenly Marks Family has been facing some internal issues lately, and I could use your influence to mediate and find a resolution."

Yang Xin raised an eyebrow, her curiosity piqued. "Oh? Tell me more."

Nie Li explained the intricacies of the family's problems, highlighting the urgency of the situation. "I believe your support could make a significant difference for me."

Yang Xin considered his request for a moment before responding, "Very well, Nie Li. I will do what I can to assist you in resolving your family matters. However, I am afraid that it wouldn't be without a price."

Nie Li hesitated, knowing that this would affect his plans and then nodded.

Yang Xin internally smiled as he used this leverage to significantly reduce the portion of profits that Nie Li could earn from the Alchemy Association. Her message was clear: either he accepted her terms or she would simply depart.

Faced with this ultimatum, Nie Li had no choice but to comply with her conditions. Events were unfolding differently than he had originally intended, and this was the only way he could regain control of his destiny and accelerate his path to strength.

Fortunately, the amount of money that Yang Xin had provided was still substantial, and it aligned with his objectives. With this newfound capital, Nie Li could continue to pursue his goals and work towards becoming even stronger.

After Yang Xin returned from her meeting with Nie Li, she decided to go to an inn where she had arranged to meet Alan, who had been patiently waiting for her. All of Yang Xin's guards were told to get some rest in the other rooms assigned to them while Yang Xin walked towards Alan's room.

The inn's dimly lit hallway gave it an air of secrecy as Yang Xin approached Alan's room. She knocked lightly on the door before entering.

Alan, sitting on a chair by a small table, looked up at Yang Xin as she entered. His sly smile was unmistakable as he gazed at her gorgeous form.

Yang Xin, maintaining her composure, bowed respectfully to Alan. "Master, the deal with Nie Li went as planned. He agreed to our terms."

Alan's smile widened as he leaned back in his chair. "Excellent, Yang Xin. You've done well. Sit, and let's discuss the details."
