Different lives same struggle.

"Uncle Naoto! Uncle Naoto!" May called out to me pulling my shirt as we walked to the zoo.

"Yeah?" I asked, looking down at her to see what she wanted.

She was pointing to an ice cream stand and it was hot out so I decided to get it for them.

"Thank you Uncle Naoto!" I heard them say as I handed the ice-cream into their tiny little hands, even though…they live happy lives oblivious to what's going on…i feel sorry for them-

"Ok, who wants to go to the Zoo now??" I asked, smiling brightly trying to get them excited and it worked.

"I do, I do!" They both said in unison jumping up and down happily.

"Careful now or your ice-cream will fall." I warned them as I took both of them by the hand and went straight for our destination.

I'll be the best uncle that you could ask for...till death.

"Micheal you're late!" Micheal's boss started to yell at him.

"And you missed a whole week of working days! Just because you made a good story one time doesn't mean you get to slack off!"

"I'm sorry sir i've just been a bit busy lately and-" Micheal was once again cut off by his boss.

"I don't care, Micheal….the job needs to be done."

Micheal nods and goes back to his computer job.

There was a silent pause in the room. The only thing that could be heard was the sound of Micheal's fingers frantically tapping the keyboard keys writing the latest news story.

"Micheal…you're fired-" his boss finally said, breaking the silence in the room.

Michael's heart drops when hearing this..

"Pack up your things….i want you out of her by the end of the day-"

His boss finally leaves, leaving Micheal sitting there in disbelief.

Saying nothing he packed up his things.

He was visibly frustrated with what was happening.

He picked up all of his things and put them in a box but before leaving he pressed the enter key on the keyboard.

"I'm back-" Micheal arrived at his friend's house, locking the door behind him.

"Welcome back, How's your day?" Gabriel said while watching tv.

"Terrible i got fired-" Micheal walked into his room with the boxes of stuff from his stall.

"Really??" Gabriel was surprised with this information.

"Mhm-" Micheal sat next to Gabriel to watch Tv when he was done with carrying his stuff inside his temporary room.

"So..what job are you gonna go for now?" Gabriel asked, switching the channel to something good.

"I don't know maybe i'll be a bartender for a while-"

Gabriel laughed to himself.

"You? A bartender?"

"What's that supposed to mean??"

"First of all your clumsy af and could barely hold your own glass without breaking it." Gabriel said, still chuckling to himself.

"True…"

"And secondly you don't have the looks to become one, well…not without a lot of issues."

"Ouch- did you really need to go that far?" Micheal leaned on the side of the couch his fist holding up his face.

"I'm just speaking the truth- but hey you'd make an amazing story writer." Gabriel tried to cheer up his friend.

"You mean Authur?" Micheal chuckled to himself.

"Whatever-"

"Dumbass-"

"Oi!"

Jeffery heard someone shout in front of his cell.

He slowly looked up to see who it was and saw a police officer with a disgusted look on his face like he crawled out of a sewer.

"What do you want as your last meal-"

Hearing this Jeffery already knew what was about to happen to him.

"Can you ..keep it private-" he said his voice was rough and coarse as if he had no water for days.

"Ok just hurry up and choose!"

"-------------"

The Police officer leaves hearing his request and Jeffery leaned against the prison wall slowly closing his eyes falling asleep.

"I have two days left…"

I have no energy to fight anymore….

Ariel laid on her bed scrolling through messages and replying to friends when a notification appeared right in front of her.

"Huh–... what's this.." She clicked on it and it was a message from Micheal.
