Siberia left the hospital an hour or two after lunch. She informed Mikhail prior to showing up at a close by bistro, close to his work spot, and sent him her location. It was long after he at last came.
"Gosh Mikhail, what took you such a long time" Siberia expressed her irritation as she talked.
"The traffic was terrible" Mikhail laughed as he spoke, enjoying her expression all over.
Siberia breathed out a sharp breath before she spoke, "In any case, since I don't have a lot of time presently, I'll just get straight to the point"
"Okay" Mikhail looked at her, waiting for Siberia to start spilling the tea.
"There are two things..... Yeong and I are together" Siberia spoke in haste and very carefully observed Mikhail's reaction.
"You are WHAT?" Mikhail looked at her with wide eyes and spoke so loud that it was drawing nearby attention.
"Hey, keep it down" She smacked him lightly as she spoke. "The second thing is..."
Mikhail cut her off, still not being able to process what he just heard. "Wait wait wait, I'm still not done processing what you said about being together with Yeong"
"I'll give you time now" Siberia stood up as she spoke, grabbing her stuff.
"Woah, we just got here. What's the rush?" Mikhail grabbed her hand as he spoke, looking concerned.
"I'll miss the subway. I promise I'll tell you everything later." Siberia brushed his hand away and made a dash for the door, leaving a bemused Mikhail behind.
"I still don't get it though" Mikhail said to himself as he stood up to leave as well.
While in the subway, Siberia got a message from her dad. He sent the location which was a little bistro in Itaewon. She checked out the place on the internet which showed that the café was located in a less dense area and the café itself was a dump. 'His choices have been bad since the start' Siberia murmured to herself as she looked through more images, indifferently. A thought suddenly occurred to her, 'Why don't I text mum?'. Siberia quickly opened up her messenger app and texted her mum about her dad requesting that she meet. {Isn't it unusual? I mean he abruptly showed up.}
She stopped when she got no reply which was very unusual as Siberia's mom would always reply back in seconds regardless of whether she was working. She gave a call to her mum and disconnected when it was directed to voicemail. 'What's up?' she contemplated as she stared at her screen.
Roughly following 18 minutes she arrived at Itaewon's station. The station was confined with various of individuals going all through the train. The line at the ticketing site was pressed and there was a great deal of moving back and forth too. The air was loaded up with the scent of individuals' perspiration which made Siberia jittery. She was astonished at in what manner or capacity many individuals had spots to go to, families to visit and kids to take out to.
The station felt terribly unique to Siberia as life appeared to be continuing on quicker than she at any point expected it would.
Siberia looked through the internet once more, yet sadly she lost the internet connections. 'Good thing I came early' she mumbled to herself as she took a gander at the time which read, 07:55. She glanced around expecting to ask somebody for directions, yet everybody was moving excessively quick and excessively involved for her to try and say 'Hello'.
On her right side she saw a woman sitting on a bench using her phone. She quickly hurried over to her who seemed to take notice of Siberia as she looked up towards her. "Um, hi"
"Hello" the young woman spoke in English with her Korean accent.
"I'm looking for this café" Siberia showed her the picture on her phone as she spoke.
"I don't know, but it is somewhere near street number 6" The young woman slightly bowed before continuing to use her phone.
"Ah okay, thank you so much" Siberia bowed before leaving.
She got herself a taxi and luckily the driver knew where the café was as he explained he's been there several time.
"That's great, thank you" Siberia thanked him as she sighed with relief.
By 08:30 Siberia arrived at her destination, she took a seat inside and waited for her father. Surprisingly he arrived 10 minutes later and as soon as he spotted her, he made his way towards her. A huge smile plastered on his face.
"Siberia honey, it's been so long, you're all grown up" He looked jolly as he spoke.
"Hey dad" Siberia, though she thought she would feel at least her heart race when she would meet her dad after so long, felt nothing. She rather felt like a bleak place with nothing, but thorny bushes.
"Let me get us something" He stood up, but was stopped by Siberia.
"That's okay; I had mine with a friend. You can get yours though" Siberia looked expressionless as she spoke.
"Okay, I was only saying it for you" He sat back down, looking a bit saddened, but it didn't look genuine.
Siberia was quite eager to get straight on point, but she didn't know where to begin with, "So um, you said you had something to talk about" she scratched her neck, looking awkwardly around and then back at him.
"Ah yes, there's a lot" He went back to being jolly. "Actually we were hoping you would come to Whales"
Siberia looked at him bemused at the sudden proposition, "Whales?"
"Yes, your mother and I shifted" he looked as if he was thinking of what to say or rather as if remembering want to say, as if all what he was saying was scripted. He was being a little too obvious and these made Siberia suspect him.
"Why are you taking so long?" Siberia felt herself losing her patience and it wasn't long before she noticed sparks from his neck. She stared at him wide in shock, perplexed.
"We thought of having a new start and you should be with us as we both believe we failed to raise you and treat you like how it was supposed to be, you know" he blurted out in one go and it was quite apparent that this was a robot's speech as he no longer sounded himself.
Siberia's chair was pushed back as she roughly stood up in rage, "The hell? Are you a robot?" she spoke loudly that drew the attention of those outside.
"What are you saying honey?" he tried to play dumb, but the expression of being caught guilty was all visible, he couldn't hide it.
"You know, you were always bad at everything, you were always too obvious and even now though you're a mere robot, well I don't care about you. WHERE IS MOM?" Siberia spoke aggressively as she stepped near him threateningly.
"I—I-I Siberia come on" he stuttered as he spoke, the sparks in his neck showing more than before.
"WHERE IS MOM?" Siberia felt her eyes weld with tears, her face fuming with anger.
"Sh-sh –she's dee—dead" he kept on stuttering as he slowly backed away.
