Will It Ever Cure?

Today was particularly cold. Siberia who's suffering from Hyperhidrosis felt cold and was wrapped up in 2 layers. She wore her tea green sweatshirt with her light brown coat that reached till her calves. For bottoms she wore her white-boot cut pants and this time she wore her brown boots with a 3 inch heel that made her look quite tall. She let her auburn-brunette silky hair down before leaving for the hospital. On her way she sent a voice mail to Mikhail.

"Hey, let's meet at 6 today, I have a lot of tea" She chuckled as she spoke, feeling quite excited today.

The hospital felt different to her today. She realized she was coming here not as a caretaker, but rather now as somebody whose meeting someone she cherishes. It was like a new atmosphere and Siberia loved that inclination. She immediately got into the lift and advanced towards room 209.

"Hey Yeong!" she spoke excitedly.

Yeong, who was lying down, playing with his phone, got up startled subsequent to leaving a relieved breath as he saw Siberia and slumped back down. "Gosh love you scared me"

Siberia blushed a little when he called her love. "Let's have breakfast at the café down?" she spoke with a flustered laugh.

"Oh I'm in" he quickly stood up and grabbed some clothes. "Give me 5" he said and made his way in the bathroom.

Siberia sat on the bed and waited as she checked her messages. A bright smile appeared as she saw Mikhail's message.

"Ohhh, I'm sure it's gonna be interesting. Your tea is always delicious, I can never get tired of it" He laughed as he spoke which made Siberia laugh as well.

"Let's go" Yeong held her hands as he spoke from her side, leaving a light peck on her hand which startled Siberia.

The bistro was less dense today. There were hardly 10 individuals with most of them separately seated with their eyes glued to their laptops. The room felt fresh and light which was a luxury to Siberia who promptly pulled up a chair by the window.

"Wow, today is …." He stopped himself halfway, unsure of what to say.

"A great day" Siberia finished off with a light chuckle.

Yeong studied her for a brief moment before saying, "You look unusually elated today"

Siberia looked at him perplexed and let out a flustered laugh as she spoke, "Really? I don't think so" she looked away awkwardly.

"Hahaha, you don't have to feel flustered. I'm actually really glad because usually you would seem down and today you took the initiative to ask me out so I'm really happy" His eyes were bright and his voice sounded less hoarse, like a child's whose excited to ride the merry-go-round.

Siberia felt herself melting away in his sweet voice. "If that makes you happy, I'll plan for lunch too"

"Then I'll plan dinner" Yeong spoke in a haste which caught Siberia by surprise.

She abruptly recalled that she needs to go meet her dad at 9 and would presumably need to leave the hospital ahead of schedule as she needs to meet Mikhail too. She faltered a piece prior to proceeding to talk. "Well about that.." she meet his bright eyes briefly prior to turning away.

"What's wrong?" Yeong looked at her concerned.

She meet his eyes again as she spoke. "I have somewhere to be"

"Does the time collapse?" he looked a little disappointed as he spoke.

Siberia noticed the disappointed in his voice, "I'm sorry Yeong, I promise I'll make up for it" she tried to cheer him up.

"It's alright, but I'm not accepting anything you say tomorrow" he spoke as if warning her.

"Haha, you have my word" she held his hand and gently squeezed it.

"Let's order something now" He picked up his menu and so did Siberia.

....................................................

They made it back to the hospital at around 10 am. Yeong was taken for some examination as Mr. Han requested for a update and Siberia was also taken by her doctor for some examinations.

"Will this ever cure?" Siberia asked as her primary care physician concentrated on her MRI results.

"I can't say a word yet, however I can say that there's a plausible as yours isn't that serious since you're in the underlying stage" her primary care physician checked out at her with a reassuring smile.

"How did I even get this amyotrophic sidelong sclerosis?" Siberia asked with clear interest.

"Well there is no known cause at this point yet it could be hereditary or environmental. I guess somebody in your family has it or had?" Doctor Hye Min took a gander at Siberia expectantly.

"No, I don't think so" Siberia looked lost as she talked, attempting to consider. "I'm certain that my mother and father never had any"

"Did you observe them? Did they at any point request incessant back rub or griped that they aren't feeling good or that their muscles ach? Any such thing?" Doctor Hye Min kept on concentrating on the results as she talked, taking frequent ganders at Siberia who appeared to be lost.

"I'm sure about my father, yet not exactly about my mother. There was a period when she went to get a back massage, yet it was on the grounds that she exhausted and felt depleted. I don't figure she has 'ALS'." Siberia considered every option as she talked.

"Well if we have any desire certainly so we must request that your mom come here and finish a few tests" Doctor Han kept the reports down in front of her as she talked, her attention now completely redirected to Siberia.

"On the off chance that she can't come, is there any alternative?" Siberia looked at Dr. Hye Min expectantly.

"I can't say anything for that" Dr. Hye Min leaned her back against her seat as she talked. "All in all nothing remains to be concerned however, I just asked since we both needed to know the reason, yet it doesn't make any difference since you're experiencing it and for the present I can recommend you some medicines." She started composing a prescription as she talked.

"Yet, consi-der the... possibility that it... deteriorates?" Siberia faltered a little.

"Well then, at that point, we'll need to operate, however, patients get cured with the prescriptions, it's just interestingly rare when we need to operate" Dr. Hye Min handed her the remedy.

Siberia didn't say much and thanked her doctor prior to leaving.

When Siberia came out, she saw Yeong leaning against the wall beside the door. He stood straight as he saw her. "Hey, what took you so long?" he looked anxious.

"Nothing really" Siberia didn't feel as elated as she did before. She was stressed out and her body ached, not much, but she did feel it and she felt the fear build up inside her as well. She wasn't really sure if her mother would agree to come Seoul, but the cause didn't matter much, she needed to be sure that she would be cured. Siberia didn't want to die, she wanted to be with Yeong, till their hair turn grey and till they see their grandchildren, till they sit together and laugh as they talk about the past.

"Hey, you can talk to me" Yeong held her shoulders and gently squeezed it.

"I don't wanna talk about it now" She felt her eyes tear up as she spoke, but managed to hold it in as she didn't want to cry.

"Okay, whenever you're ready" He pulled her into his embrace, lighting patting her head.
