Chapter 45

Lillian could smell one of her captains scent, she continued down the cave and pulled out a short sword, she kept her dagger in one hand and the short sword in the other.

" LEE!!" Lillian screamed down the tunnel, she could feel the vines moving under her feet as she walked. A light was ahead of her, she calmly and slowly made her way out of the tunnel into a forest of trees, flowers, and other vegetation.

" so beautiful, huh those willow trees are shaped like a person and that reminds me of tree folk" Lillian said as she pushes through the vegetation, she walks closer to a willow tree.

" that would be something if tree folk survived, I wish I was old enough to save them back then and humans won't stop unless we deal with them" Lillian said to herself as hate filled her heart more, a pain shot through her chest.

" ahh shit not now" Lillian hissed as she used the tree to hold herself up, another sharp pain took her down to her knees and white light took over her sight then faded to black.

" EH ! I think I'm blind now, fucking shit" Lillian said sniffing the air, trying to focus her hearing around her. She followed Lee's scent tripping and falling on her face over a dozen times, she pulls her spear out and uses it to help her through the terrain.

" Great I'm in a damn forest that's inside a cave, I'm blind and the only sure way I know out is to climb out through the open top of this cave" Lillian said out loud to herself with a sigh.

("THHISSS WAAAAAY")

A low and slow voice said making her snap her head to the side, she sighed out loud, shrugging her shoulders slowly walking toward the voice she heard.

("Ha Ha Ha Ha")

A womans laughter came from the same direction, Lillian felt the ground soften and could smell water. She stepped forward, a branch hit her chest, she takes her hand slowly across the branch walking while touching the branch along the way and then feels the trunk of the tree.

Lillian walks around the tree trying to go straight toward the direction from where the voice and laughter came from, her wings were to weak to fly and she probably would be impaled by a branch if she tried. Lillian couldnt change out of her demon form, her body wouldn't let her and being in her form was the only reason she hasn't died yet.

Dizziness hit her hard, she felt around for something to sit on and found a branch low enough to sit.

The willow tree has been silently following Lillian, when she almost stepped in the pond he blocked the way with his branches helping her around it. When she was dizzy, looking for a place to sit he lowered his branch and kept the other beings away from her. The druid who saved all the creatures here, has been following them and watching the girl.
