The God of Jesters

Farhad looked at the woman ahead of him, his mind running as fast as he could before coming to a single conclusion. 'She is working for him.' Or she is working for him, but she still doesn't know it yet.

'Meaning this whole thing can be a game of his.'

Farhad recalled the meeting he had with Jester a few months ago. "Run if you wish, I only brought you here to help you escape from trouble back then anyway."

"But I do hope, you don't let yourself be treated like trash, you are Grifter, a very dangerous bastard who has killed me multiple times. So I don't wish to watch you act pathetic all the time."

Those words showed Jester's genuine concern for him, and even in his heart, Farhad was well aware that what Jester said to him were his real thoughts. And Farhad would have even considered forgiving Jester for turning him into this bizarre undying monster. But the fact that his father was dead and his family barely surviving. He just couldn't do it.
