Chapter 59: First Weapon (2)

---

This chapter will make over 100K words! I never really thought about hitting that many words on any of my novels, and yet here I am, with this and Servant System reaching that number!

I hope everyone has enjoyed the novel so far, and lets see if I can get to 200K next~!

---

The woman's green eyes looked me up and down, before turning to Yunache and asking "This one of the Outsiders everyones going crazy about?"

Yunache nodded, and the smith returned her gaze to me, licking her lips as she asked "Does she have a mate? I want her."

I chuckled, raising a brow as I said "Yes, I have two beautiful women devoted to me. Also, I speak for myself; Yunache doesn't."

Grinning down at me, the smith moved closer, her eyes filled with mirth as she said "Oh, and she's feisty too~ Mmm... wonder if you're like that in bed as well?"

I narrowed my eyes at her, and she took a step back, her laughter making her large chest bounce.

"Haha~ You really are my type, Outsider. Name's Dragaia."

"Kokoro."

Still smirking, Dragaia opened her door wider, allowing us entry.

Stepping inside, I was take aback by the large pile of Chakra Metal ingots in the corner, as well as the various shelves and containers overflowing with bones and hides.

Besides the raw materials, there were over a dozen beautiful weapons hanging on the walls, runes carved into the metal as they shone in the light of Dragaia's forge.

Seeing my wonder filled gaze, Dragaia said "I'll forge you two weapons if you become mine."

Looking at her, I tilted my head as I said "If I was your mate, wouldn't it be expected of you to provide me weaponry? Only two blades? Stingy."

She pursed her lips, looking around the room before chuckling.

"You're right; this will all be yours if you become my woman. I've wanted a strong, interesting mate like you for awhile now; mainly for children, but also..."

Moving near me again, she lifted a strand of my hair and brought it to her nose, smiling as she whispered "I've been lonely~"

Raising a brow, I let her do... whatever she was doing.

Letting my hair go, she frowned as she looked at me, before sighing.

"I guess you wouldn't be as easy as the others in the village, huh?"

I laughed, making her tilt her head.

"Unlike the others in this village, I have my two wives to satisfy me, both physically and emotionally. I'm not exactly in the 'market', either as a woman or looking for another to join us..."

Sighing again, Dragaia turned, taking a breath before asking in a serious voice "Then what brings you here?"

Amused at her quick change, I pulled out the scroll, saying "I- No, my wives and I hunted a rather large bear; wanted to trade it in for a blade or two."

Turning, Dragaia tutted her tongue before she raised her brow at the scroll, before saying "Storage Seal?"

Seeing me nod Dragaia gestured towards the door in the back.

Following behind her, I found myself in a large yard, various shoots of flower and herbs littering the edge of the fence.

"Place this bear down; let me get a look at it."

Unfurling the scroll, I dropped the corpse into the center of the yard, making Dragaia grin as she moved closer.

"Uh-Uh. No touching."

Hearing my voice, she pursed her lips as she looked at me.

"I need to evaluate the pelt, feel the bones..."

Seeing that her eyes were honest, I eventually nodded, watching as she gently ran her hand over the soft brown fur of the bear, occasionally poking it.

Minutes passed, Dragaia inspecting every inch of the bear before looking at me, her eyes heated as she licked her lips again.

"I really, really want you know. You hunted this? Mmm..."

Stepping closer, she cupped my cheek, looking into my eyes.

I raised a brow before sighing, gently pushing her hand away.

"So, is the bear worth two blades?"

Dragaia stared at me for a few more moments, her eyes burning with desire before she sighed as well, looking back at the bear.

"Depends on the blades, honestly. I can say that you can get a longsword easily, but the other blade depends..."

I chuckled, saying "Perfect. I use longer swords, while my wives~ use daggers and knives."

Hearing the emphasis on wives, Dragaia rolled her eyes, looking at the grinning Yunache as she said "Damnit Yunache, why'd you bring such a perfect, yet unobtainable woman to my door? This is just cruel!"

Yunache and I laughed, making Dragaia sigh again.

Scratching her chin, she looked at the bear with narrowed eyes, before saying "You have a deal. Bring one of these wives of yours here, and we'll get you and her measured and questioned for your ideal blades."

I nodded, leaning forwards as I said "Oh, just be a bit careful with the flirtyness when she's here~ She is quite... possessive. I wouldn't want you to get hurt~"

Dragaia looked towards the sky, muttering something before shooing me away.

Going back inside, I looked around her workshop quickly, comparing it to the smithies I had seen back in the Elemental Nations.

In one corner was a large furnace, connected to the chimney outside.

In front of it were two things; a large metal block used for hammering out blades, and a big barrel filled with water, used for tempering the blades.

Besides that, there was a table off to the side littered with various chunks of stones, likely used to sharpen the edges of the blades.

Finally, there was a table with different mortal and pestles, bones littering the table to be turned into a glue. Other than that, strips of leather were scattered about, to be used as buffers or as handle wraps.

Seeing my interest in her shop, Dragaia tried one more time to coax me, saying "Really, all this could be yours..."

She stood behind me, her arms crossed over her defined abs and under her giant chest.

I smirked at her, before saying "Sorry, not really a girl to just offer herself for some material items~"

Dragaia sighed, looking at Yunache with pleading eyes.

"You'll tell her my. good points, right Yunache?"

The Fire Priestess furrowed her brow, a finger on her chin as she pondered Dragaia's plea.

Shaking her head, Yunache grinned at the smith, saying "You have none other than a large-"

Before she could finish I walked outside, having had enough for the time being.

Yunache exited as well, holding her stomach as she chortled.

I shook my head, watching the Fire Priestess stumble out before stopping beside me.

Wiping a tear from her eye, Yunache said "Sorry, sorry. I really didn't think she'd be like that..."

I shrugged, replying "I don't really mind; nothing she does or offers will sway me, nor will it sway my wives. I know that for a fact. Besides, the blades on her walls and the amount of materials speaks for itself; she's a skilled smith."

Yunache nodded, her face serious as she said "Dragaia's the best in the village. Made my sister and I weapons, and even forged that axe for the Chieftess. Her works usually cost 100 Silvers minimum."

Turning to Yunache, my eyes widened as I repeated "100 Silvers?!"

She smirked at me, nodding.

"Dragaia makes masterpieces each time. The spear she made me has lasted a decade, and it looks ready to go for another few. Well, go grab Anko or Kurenai; the quicker you get her started the better."

I nodded, still in awe that I was getting weapons from the best smith in the village.

Well, I was also going to let Anko get a dagger, meaning I needed to prep her in advance for how Dragaia acts.

Earlier I may have said that she was possessive, and that I didn't want Dragaia to get hurt, but I needed to make sure we weren't killed for offending a master smith.
