Volume 1 is more focused in developing the bonds between the characters while volume 2 is where the story will truly begin.

Oh and if you can't deal with an old man trapped in the body of a child (MC) and is raising other children but the children in turn, develops romantic feelings for the MC. Then this isn't for you.

But don't get this mistaken, there isn't any pedophiliac content. The MC only considers them family.... for now...? Maybe, I don't know.

And so, he didn't delay in testing out that idea of his and set out to find his sisters of this time.

Just as he went to pick up the young Jingfei however,

"Who are you! What have you done to Brother Xin?!" The young Jingfei shouted in an aggressive tone.

She then narrowed her eyes as she took another look at him. Jingfei became even more apprehensive after seeing Zed floating in the air along with her brother and a disdainful youth whose robes and right arm were burnt.

"You... you're like Brother Xin..."

Zed eased his expression and gently said, "Relax, I mean no harm."

Jingfei looked at him before her gaze moved towards the two floating clearly unconscious youths behind him.

Which part of this didn't seem like he didn't mean any harm?
