“If a wolf notices that you have spotted it watching you, it will leave immediately,” Raine responded to Julietta’s urgent question.
“I suppose you’re right?” she replied. “I don’t really know how wolves behave. Last night I saw it howling at the moon.”
“Oh, you did?” Rain asked with an excited look in his eyes. Julietta noticed that his eyes were actually brighter.
“Yes, it was sitting somewhere on the other side of the stream,” Julietta explained. “It was actually totally unaware of my presence.”
“Oh and did that make you feel ignored?” Raine asked looking at Julietta intently.
“Sort of because it lured me into the forest,” Julietta replied.
“How did it lure you?” Raine asked with a curious frown between his brows. He still looked so magical, especially in the moonlight, that she wondered whether she was perhaps the only one who could see him.
