Chapter 51: Elliot and Emile Discover Truths

Elliot could not believe his eyes.

“She’s kissing the werewolf!” he thought in alarm. It was unacceptable to see Raine hold her in his arms briefly, but now she had crossed over to his side by kissing him! She would soon be half-wolf herself.

Elliot was actually shaking from the shock.

“What will happen to the rest of us as her friends?” he asked himself. “We’re friends, so we will be affected by what happens to her, surely?”

After the kiss, Julietta left with the wolf; hand in hand.

“Should I stop her now before she goes too far with him?” Elliot asked himself. “Perhaps they’re going back to his ruined castle?”

Emile and Sheila had told him about their meeting up with Jimmy in the woods. They also now suspected that Raine could have been cursed into becoming a wolf.

“But shouldn’t we help him if he was cursed?” Sheila had asked.

“You mean to remove the curse?” Emile had asked.

“Yes, it would only help Julietta in the end if she cares for him,” Sheila had explained.
