Chapter 34: The Lion's Den

In chess, there are two major things players need to know before they even think about attempting the game. One, is to understand and memorize what all your pieces can and cannot do—from the pawn to the king. The second is to master the art of strategy and always have an eye on not only all the moves you could do, but all the moves that your opponent could do on their next turn, and the consecutive turns after that. It’s all about thinking five steps ahead. Or at least that’s what Tyler and search engines told me.
