Chapter 50: Family

The final few days in Greece were a blur. With everything moving at ten times the speed, it seemed as if our last day came to a close a lot quicker then anticipated and before I knew it, we were packing up our suitcases and Tyler’s belongings he had brought with him to Greece and getting ready to board the plane home.

“Aubrey! Are you ready? The plane starts boarding in a couple hours and we still need to go through security!”

Aubrey stepped out of the hotel bathroom, with her hair in a messy bun and bags underneath her eyes. The morning sky had barely risen, but granted that Greece was more than eight hours ahead of us, it was warranted.

“Why are our flights always so g*dd*mn early?” she asked, thrusting her hands into the front pocket of her sweater.

“Blame the time difference, alright? But we really need to go.”
