"Indeed"

"Indeed." Savannah gave a nod. "However, unlike what the advisor claimed, I am not a witch."

"Why?"

"Pardon?"

"Why are you doing this?"

"It's a little bit difficult, as you can see." Aura became even more irate as she gestured with her hand as she said. "Let's start with the chains that are keeping you here." She made a gesture at Aura's wrist chains. "Long ago, my mother was chained exactly like this. They abandoned her to starve without food or water. You're being fed, at the very least." Aura's eyes widened in recognition of the truth. These chains were used to confine Marianna. Savannah is therefore her child. But how is that even possible? "You must now be wondering, how?" Savannah's voice grew hushed. "Well, she wasn't my biological mother; my birth mother died after I was born, and Marianna, she was the one who was like a mother to me. She showered me with affection and love. She was gorgeous and truly a divinity in human form, yet she was snatched from me." Her eyes began to well up with tears.

"I can recall her face glowing like thousands of fireflies were surrounding her when my father brought her home when I was two years old. She was sent in to care for me, and she did; she also hummed lovely music." Savannah closed her eyes and began humming as she rocked from side to side. " Even my father couldn't resist her since she was so stunning, and as a result, my brother was born." This was something new, something no one had informed her about, yet it was her tale, Savannah's story. "Galduer, my brother." As the reality began to emerge, Aura's head swung. She had heard fragments of stories that were now full. "My mother and brother were murdered by your family." As tears continued to stream from Savannah's eyes in response to the flashback, she became enraged.

"When my father learned that she was a witch, he wanted to kill her after finding out that she was pregnant, so she fled." Savannah made a dry joke. "A noble being never being the father of a witch's son. She fled and settled in this area of the Josen kingdom. Visits took place between the two kingdoms.

"You always came here to see Marianna, then." said Aura. " And one day, when she was singing and putting prince Ezekiel to sleep, "my father saw her, a strange dark aura around her, and he fainted."

"Hey presto, you're really intelligent. Your dumb father was the reason she wouldn't still be alive." That was her deadpan comment.

"The adviser recognized her face, at which point she cursed the man, leaving him silent for the rest of his life, and the curse was passed on to the man's son. That clarifies why the healers were unable to assist Coco." Savannah laughed as she nodded.

"I immediately recognized Coco the instant he entered the palace, Great magic, eh?"

"So, who murdered his father?"

"My brother." Savannah gave a casual response. "It was the advisor; my mother was discovered; in fact, my brother intended to kill his entire family but the advisor his son somewhere. But after killing that man, he enjoyed it and carried him into town." Aura was unsurprised by Savannah's casual admission of this.

"All this for retaliation."

'No, Aura,' Savannah called Aura by her real name for the first time in a long, and Aura winced because the name sounded so strange. "It's about power today, not simply getting revenge," Of course, she desired authority; she desired to rule this entire empire. It is understandable why she became so agitated when prince Ezekiel's coronation was interrupted. " You don't know what's going on outside, do you? And soon the power will be in my hands, oh yes." She gave a handclap. "I'll explain," she murmured. "My son Timothy will be crowned on the day you were intended to be, but because he is still a young man, the power will eventually pass to me because my beloved poor husband is not in a situation to handle these things,". She pouted in jest. " The nicest part, as my mother wanted, is that I'll destroy everything." Aura recalled Marianna's curse, which called for "the destruction of the entire kingdom."

"Don't you know that if you ruin the entire kingdom, you will also be destroyed?"

"Oh no, sweetie, that is where you are mistaken. I'll make a new, more favorable world for magic. I'll make a place for my mum because she was never given one here."

"You're referring to witches." Savannah turned to face Aura. "And your father, what about him?"

"What's with him? He never gave a thought to me; all he desired was power, as do I." A gong sound appeared out of nowhere, weak but audible. " That's my cue, then. It was wonderful catching up, and we'll see each other again when I kill you in public. It's ironic that you'll be punished and that others already despise you. I only need to make some fictitious tears." She chuckled before turning around to leave. "My darling princess, good luck." Aura only heard that before the basement once more went completely dark.

Aura had 48 hours to take action before the coronation ceremony, which would take place in two days, but the shackles around her wrists constantly served as a reminder that she was powerless to do anything. She began to imagine all the awful possibilities. What if Harold was found? What about the envelope? Savannah was planning to let the witches rule the kingdom, and how can Aura prevent her from doing so from the dungeons? Once the fire lamp had burned off, Aura was unable to see who was standing there as something slipped towards her feet. She reached out and felt her surroundings. The fire lamp was then ignited, illuminating the dungeon just a bit. It was enough to glance at what she was holding, which was the envelope. The envelope she asked Harold to bring, the very envelope. Aura wept after an unexpected burst of delight. "Why did it take you so long?" When she turned to look at the individual, she thought it would be Harold, but instead she saw the man with the mask standing by the grill door. Aura quickly stood up while frowning. "What are you doing here?" She asked right away because she was certain that he was the one who had slid the envelope. The man simply pointed to the envelope on Aura's palm without saying a word. "How did you learn about this?" And it appeared as though time had stopped because there was no sound other than the flame lamp's blazing flames. There was dim light, but it was sufficient to view the man's face as he raised his hands to take off the mask. Aura gasped when he discarded his mask. The face she craved, the one she hadn't seen in a long. She reflexively reached out to touch the blue pendant on her neck. "Coco." Her eyes began to leak tears. The chains prevented her from moving forward as she sprinted in his way. Coco had the same expression and clutched the bar gate. She was overcome with emotion as she finally saw the person she loved. She collapsed to her knees and began to cry. Even though Coco wanted to embrace her, he was unable to do so and was left with no choice but to sob. "Where have you been? "I waited for you.... I needed you." As Aura continued to speak, the pent-up emotions all came rushing out at once.

The guards were on their way when there was a sudden sound of metal clanking. To nudge her attention in his direction, Coco beat on the metal rod. He made a few gestures while pointing at the chains that most likely indicated, "I'll get you out tomorrow, I promise." He then hurriedly exited the dungeon before anyone could spot him. Aura gazed at the envelope with a glimmer of hope in her heart, but it was empty except for a ring. A grey stoned ring and an envelope with "the promise: soul" written on it.

"What does it mean?" She carefully examined the ring; although it felt somewhat familiar, she was unable to recall anything about it.

Savannah, on the other hand, was giggling and dancing in her room because she was so happy. "Just one more day, mother, and we'll have everything." She laughed and yelled. She paid attention to an audible groan and moved her head to look in that way. "Everything will be OK, my poor poor husband." Ezekiel lay motionless on the bed. He could see and hear everything, but all he could do was move his eyes. He was paralyzed. The entire castle trembled under the sound of a shrill voice that resounded throughout it. It engulfed the entire castle. "What was that?" Savannah muttered, appearing perplexed. "Has to be our little daughter." Ezekiel's eyes began to tear up. " But don't worry, I'll soon relieve her of the suffering." She sat down next to Ezekiel and wiped his tears.
