Juliana hugged her brother's arm as they entered into the premise of their house. She then urged, "Lucas, put a good word about me in Sebastian's ears, alright? You know, how I can't endure any sort of wrongs."
Before Lucas could say anything in response, a loud voice rang out, "Juliana Knight, go and face the wall behind the staircase with your hand raised for an hour."
It was never a good sign when her full name was taken.
That made Juliana's expression fall down immediately, and releasing Lucas, she stepped forward. Feeling indignant, she frowned at the oldest child of the family.
At twenty seven, Sebastian Knight had the entire control over family business and was taken as his siblings' guardian. He had strong features that usually intimidated people and made then wish to not cross his path. One usually found it hard to lift their head in his presence. A pair of glasses sat on his forehead, giving him a feeling of abstinence and nobility.
"How can you punish me in that manner? It's embarrassing and childish," Juliana pointed out while folding her hands over her chest.
"When you act like a child, you should be ready to get punished in that manner."
"What do you mean? When did I act like a child?"
"As a girl, sneaking out to an unsafe neighborhood in the middle of the night and messing around, can it be considered mature?" He arched his eyebrows.
"How can you say I was messing around? Clearly, I was providing justice. And as a girl? Sebastian, can you not be such a sexist? Finally, I am a martial arts genius. What could happened to me?" Juliana spoke, using a righteous tone.
"Right, Sebastian. You can't be a sexist. That's why, you should have let her rot in the prison for a week, just like you did with Alex and me."
This made Juliana shoot him a glare.
"Stay out of this. Do you remember what happened the last time you interfered, Max?"
Maximilian Knight was the third oldest in the family along with his twin, Alexander Knight. Despite being highly identical, both of them had completely opposite personality.
While Alexander had his natural black hair, Maximilian dyed his silver, and the color changed based on his moods. While Maximilian was rowdy and known to be a flamboyant playboy, Alexander kept to himself for the most part and acted reserved to people. He was quiet and hardly spoke without necessity.
"Watch how you speak to your older brother, Juliana," Sebastian warned.
Juliana pouted.
"At least don't call me by my full name. That's really ugly."
Following that, Sebastian directed his eyes towards the wall, and Juliana understood what he indicated by that. She wanted to complain, but that look in his eyes clearly made her understand his decision is absolute.
Deflated, Juliana dragged her feet over to the wall. Feeling utterly embarrassed, she raised her hand and supported her head against the wall. Ah! She did a good job. Why was she being punished in this manner?
Indeed.
The good people are never rewarded. Life was never fair.
"Stand up straight."
"Yes," Juliana dragged out the word before sighing and abiding.
