The New Clothing Store

In the coming weeks after the founding of the illuminati, Albert's schedule became a little hectic.

Among other things he had to write the books for the education of the children. Which he was extra careful with since he sprinkled in a little propaganda in it. Nothing too crazy, just to make them a little loyal.

Actually their real education haven't even started. Since they will first learn the basics like reading and writing. Besides, starting the combat training now would be a suicide with the state of their bodies are currently in.

But Albert even though he didn't need to, he still visited the kids regularly. And his mother always teased him with this. Like how he already got so many friends and soon he won't even come back home.

Which always made Albert embarrassed since as an adult how could he make friends withe little kids. He just making friends with them because he wants to make them into loyal and reliable ally. Definitely not because it was fun to turn of his mind and play with them... No definitely not!

So Albert's days now were more fun then ever. And he always had something useful to do. Which he was really happy about since most of his past life was spent on staring at a screen doing nothing.

But he still got very excited when Anul and Bela reported that the hiring and training of the workers and staff are almost finished. And the renovation of the stores in the common and noble district are finished.

So everything is ready for the opening and they only need Albert's approval. Which he happily gave them but he wanted to visit the store in the noble district before opening.

"Wow!"

Gisela grasped in surprise after seeing the interior of the newly renovated store.

The new design of the store resembled a modern clothing store a lot. With counters, fittings rooms and aisles full with all kinds of colorful clothes. And the whole place was illuminated by the sun light pouring in trough the glazed windows.

The store was actually one of the first place where glass windows were used in a 'civilian' building.

[A/n: Sorry I still can't understand what kind of glass was used in the middle ages...]

"It feels so big!"

Albert mother Gisela looked around in the store.

"Yes because of the open spaces, it feels bigger."

Anul explained professionally, even though he was a little bit anxious by the presence of the Queen.

"You are Anul right?"

Gisela suddenly turned towards him and asked. Which startled him a little.

"It's a honor that your highness knows my name!"

Anul was able to quickly compose himself and still stayed polite while panicking a little.

"Mhm!"

The Queen examined him from top to bottom and hummed a little. After which she just stayed silent for a few moments while just staring at him.

These few moments were one of the most nerve-wracking for Anul. Who showed a calm front on the outside but in his head he was panicking.

But to Anul's relief Gisela finally moved her eyes to Bela.

"So you two were the one who made this shop!"

She asked while looking at Bela and Anul with an interested look

"No, no Prince Albert was the one who designed it and we just followed his instructions."

Anul almost instantly denied, not wanting to take credit for something which he didn't make.

"Yeah, yeah it was mostly the Prince's idea!"

Bela added as well. Which made the Queen smile a little.

"The two of you don't have to be so humble and should take a bigger credit for your work."

She said then patted their shoulder.

"And about Albert..."

Gisela turned away from Bela and Anul and looked at Albert who was just watching the scene in front of him quietly.

"...is of course my little genius!"

She grabbed Albert and started to rub her cheeks against his.

"Tsk"

He clicked his tongue in annoyance but he still didn't resist the violation of his cheek, knowing that doing so would only make it worse. To Albert's relief Gisela stoped the assault after half a minute.

"So why did you came mum?"

Albert asked while massaging his sore, reddened cheek.

"Hup, my son doesn't even want see his mother any more!"

While wiping down non-existent tears, Gisela said in a sad tone.

"Sigh, they just grow so fast now days, I remember when I just feeding on my breast and he was always so clingy..."

With every word of his mother Albert's face became more and more red from embarrassment. While Bela's and Anul's face became red as well but it was because of the laugh they tried to hold in.

"And now he doesn't even want to see me... Maybe he doesn't love me anymore!"

She finished in an over dramatic tone and dejected face.

"No, no, no I ove you of course but..."

Albert became a little agitated and hastily denied it with bit of a panic and embarrassment in his voice.

"Hahaha, I can't take it anymore! Hahaha!"

Bela tried to suppress her laughter by placing her hand on her mouth. But she couldn't take it anymore and started to laugh into her hand. Which made Anul who was also also barely holding it in, crack up.

"Hahaha, I'm sorry but its hilarious, hahaha..."

Albert was confused at first, not understanding what's happening. But then he realized however he couldn't believe it so he looked at his mother hoping for some consolation.

"You should have seen your face it was hilarious!"

But he was bound to be disappointed since his mother also started to chuckle.

"Hmph"

Understanding that he left without support Albert harumphed and looked away. And promised to take revenge.

The laughter of the three only died down after a few minutes. When there stomach and side started to hurt from laughing.

"You don't have to be so grumpy I was joking with you!"

Gisela consoled the still annoyed Albert while wiping away her tears which flowed out when laughing.

"Whatever!"

After a few apology Albert since he is a big boy, finnaly relented and grumpily let it go.

"I just had a little free time and we didn't have a lot of time together now days..."

Gisela finally explained the real reason why she is here. Which made Albert realize that he was so lost in work that he didn't spend enough time with his Mother. He felt a little guilty but then he came up with something which he could compensate his mother with.

Something which every woman liked doing in his old world. (Or they say.) But he personally, hated it and found it boring.

"How about a little shopping?"

Here is the chapter from yesterday. I wrote the half of it while being slightly drunk so it's not the best... But at least I tried!
