I'm sorry

"Tyler?" she called him, and he was just looking at her. He was nervous and didn't want to expect anything from her. He just wanted to tell her about his feelings towards her.

"Y-Yes?" his eyes were fixed on her, waiting for her to talk again.

"Just remember this one..." she was looking at him, seriously, and he did too. He was waiting for her to talk again, and she said,

"I... I would never like a mere butler like you." Ana's words hurt Tyler. He didn't expect her to be rude. Tyler was silent while still looking at her. Ana sighed before she finally stepped away from him as the rain continued to pour. Tyler just let the raindrops wash over him. He didn't feel the cold, but he felt the pain in his heart.

The next morning, Ana was inside her room as she coughed. She remembered what happened yesterday. She was soaked wet from the rain so she is coughing now. She feels so weak and miserable. She held her head while massaging it lightly. She was about to get up when she heard a knock from her door.

Anatasia hurriedly covered her body with her blanket and pretended to be asleep. She couldn't see who was going inside. That's why she closed her eyes in case that person who went in took the blanket off her. She was under her blanket when the person who went inside started to talk.

"Mr. President. I think your daughter is still sleeping," she was sure that it was Tyler's voice. She closed her eyes and she continued to pretend to be asleep. She heard the door close, and Ana sighed in relief and started to take the blanket off her. She was satisfied and rested deeply when, "Gosh! You startled me!" she said, seeing Tyler in front of her with his arms crossed in front of him. She gulped and it was so embarrassing.

"So, you're pretending to be asleep? All the time I was inside, right?" he asked.

"I don't want-"

"That's enough. We need to go. Your dad is waiting for you. You had better be ready after ten minutes," he said coldly, and immediately left his room.

Anatasia scoffed in disbelief while watching him leave her room. "What was that? Is he mad?" she rolled her eyes and started to get ready. After she got dressed, she then went out of her room, and found out that Tyler had been standing there outside. He then looked at her, but it was cold and seemed like he was back to his old self and habit.

"Let's go," he started to walk downstairs, and she followed. It was awkward and the silence surrounded them. They were still walking when she saw her dad. "Dad? Where are we going?"

"We're going to meet Noah right now," her dad said, and her eyes widened and she looked at Tyler. Tyler didn't even bother to look at her and he continued to walk towards the car.

They were already inside the car, but silence surrounded them. It suffocates her. She wasn't used to it. It was new to her. Ana glanced at Tyler, but he was just focusing on looking at the road. She sighed in disbelief and started to look outside the car.

When they arrived at Noah's company, all the staff bowed their heads when they saw the President entering the company. Ana was wearing her sunglasses to Noah's company. She was confidently walking while Tyler was behind her. Tyler was looking at her. He didn't want to be cold to her, but he had to distance himself from her. Ana was his boss's daughter after all. She was the President's daughter.

Noah was inside his office when they went inside. He then looked at them and stood, bowing his head. "President," he greeted. "Please take a seat," he said, and walked closer to them. Ana was looking at her, but she didn't feel anything special anymore. She had been thinking about Tyler lately. She was inside Noah's office, but her mind was somewhere else.

"Tasia?" she then looked at her dad.

"Yes?"

"Aren't you listening?" he asked.

"Ah, I'm sorry. I was thinking about another matter," she said with a smile. Noah was looking at her and started to say, "I'll be frank, Mr. President. I... I don't want this marriage," he uttered.

Ana wasn't surprised anymore. She didn't feel anything. It seemed like she wanted that to happen. She wasn't paying attention when her dad looked at her, "Are you feeling alright?" he asked her, and she nodded her head. She just felt a little bit dizzy and had a headache because of her cold.

"Mr. Brown?"

"Yes?"

"I'm sorry," they were surprised when she said that. They were looking at her with confusion building inside them.

"W-What do you mean? Why are you saying sorry?"

"I... don't want this marriage either," she stated, and her dad was surprised about that. He looked at her, "Are you sure about that? What about our-"

"I'll do it, dad. Let's talk about that later," she then stood and bowed her head to Noah. "I'm really sorry for interrupting and disturbing you, Mr. Brown," Ana then went out and started to walk towards the car. Her dad then started to head back to his car too, and he looked back at his daughter. A smile was formed on his lips while looking at her.

"She has grown now," he uttered before he went inside the car.

When she was inside, Tyler looked at her, "Where are we heading too, Ms?"

"Pharmacy," she uttered.

"Why?"

"I need to buy some medicine," she uttered and coughed. Tyler didn't show that he was worried about her. He wanted to stay lowkey. When they arrived, she was about to go out when he said, "I'll go. I'll buy some medicine for you," he said, and went out. Ana was watching him as he walked towards the pharmacy. She didn't know what she had been doing, but... she was bothered by what she had done to Tyler last night.

Ana wanted to say sorry, and take it back, but she didn't know how to start a conversation with him. "You... you weren't a mere butler, Tyler. You... were the best butler I had," she uttered while staring at him.

It was seven in the evening when they got back to the house. She was feeling so weak at the back of the car while she continued to cough. He then went out of the car and opened the car door for her. He was waiting for her to come out, but when he looked at her, his eyes widened when he saw how pale and weak she was.

"Ms. Ana? What's wrong? Are you okay?" he asked worriedly.

"No. I-I'm not feeling well," she replied.

"Can you stand?" he asked, but she shook her head. Tyler had no other choice but to carry her towards her room. "Wrap your arms around my neck," he whispered, and she nodded. Tyler started to walk towards her room, but Ana slightly opened her eyes and saw how good-looking he was.

While he was walking, a sweat fell off his face, and that made him look so hot. Ana then closed her eyes again and leaned her head on his chest while clinging onto his neck, tightly. Tyler then opened the door and gently placed her on her bed. "Take some rest," he was about to go, when Ana held his hands.

As he looked back at her, his eyes widened and his chest started to throb so fast. "What is it, Ms?"

"I'm sorry," she uttered.

"What? For what?" he asked.

"For saying that you're just a mere butler. Actually..." she opened her eyes and looked at him.

"You were not like that. You... were the best butler I had," she said, and after that, she closed her eyes and fell asleep. Tyler had a smile on his lips when he heard that. He wasn't expecting that a woman like Ana would say sorry to him. It was the first time he had her say that. She had committed so many mistakes before, but it was the first time she said sorry.

He slowly lifted her hands and kissed them. Tyler was smiling when he put Ana's hands back on the bed and put the blanket on her. Tyler slowly leaned in closer to her, and kissed her on her forehead. He looked at her for the last time before he went out. He started to walk downstairs when the President called him.

"Mr. President? What is it?"

"I'll assign you to another location next week. You're no longer her butler next week. I'll assign another butler for her. You did a good job," the President said, and he was disappointed to hear about that. He didn't want to be away from her. He wanted to be close to her. He wanted to be by her side.

"Okay, President. Thank you."
