"I'M dead? How can that happen!"
Aliyah looked around. She recognized nothing. Well, there's only nothing. No light, no object, nothing at all. She remembers falling asleep after experiencing chest pain. Did she sleep walk?
[Yes! You died in your sleep!] Oh wait, there's this scary voice she doesn't know where's coming from. The voice sounds like a male that has a higher voice than normal or could be a woman with a slightly lower voice. This voice informed her about her supposed death, which she couldn't figure out how.
"How? Why?...what?" she wonders. She grabs her hair and pulls it back. She may have forgotten some things, as she does most of the time. Aliyah is at a loss for what to do.
Yes, she wishes she could die at times, but she never expected this abrupt change. Aliyah began to suspect that she was having a lucid dream and that everything she was seeing was a product of her imagination and dream space.
[You died while sleeping from a heart attack!] She had a heart attack? She has no heart disease! And what exactly is this...thing? Voice? Aliya darted her eyes, left and right as she inspect the whole place. 'There's nothing here, a void perhaps?'
[You can call me Bella! I am the match breaker system! You've been experiencing symptoms even from before.] Match breaker system? What's that? Twin of the matchmaking system? And what symptoms, is it the pain in her chest?
[The occasional chest pain, frequent twitching and always feeling tired. It shows signs of your impending death. And Nope! I am the opposite of the matchmaking system! My purpose is to break couples a lot!]
"O-okay..can you stop talking in exclamation? It's…loud." Aliyah complained. She can't hear the voice speaking in her ear but something...inside. Inside her brain, perhaps?
'But isn't that like homewrecking?' Aliyah thought. She doesn't know what purpose this Bella system has. Her thoughts surprisingly didn't dwell deeper into her death.
[Ms. Aliyah, you are chos—sorry, Keuhum! Ms. Aliyah, you are chosen to be my potential host. You don't have to worry as you can refuse me. Please excuse my tone as my last host set my personality to be quite joyous and bubbly.] Aliyah solemnly nodded.
She looks around again and points to her surrounding, "So, where am I? What will happen to me if I refuse? Will I wake up? Why me?"
She's really confused. What did she just do or have for her to be chosen? Is there something like a requirement? Is she still alive, if she's really dead, in the real world? She means, her body, is it buried?
[Well, every soul, like every creature, although similar, are all different. They may bear some resemblance to each other but all souls have something unique to them. Systems don't just pick souls randomly, so do not worry about being chosen out of whim. There are 3 other souls who are chosen like you to be my potential host.]
"So, why me?" A light appeared in the middle of nothing. Instead of getting blind because of its brightness, Aliyah could feel something urging her to touch the light. A side of her tells her that touching it is the rightest thing she could do.
[ Can you feel the pull? ]
Aliyah dazedly nodded. She wants it…she has to have it…No. What's happening to her? Why did she want to own that ball?
[That's the pull. The reason I chose you and the other soul is because of it. The pull means we're compatible to be bound. You have the qualifications to work with me.]
Aliyah clutches her…wait—she's getting transparent! And a little bit jelly…is she dyi—wait she's already dead.
[Oops. We're running out of time. I'll speed-run my introduction. I am Bella, the Match breaker system. My purpose is to aid the host to break couples apart. Why? Well, it's because of the probability. Probability can be said in simple terms as the 'World's Favor'. Enough probability can make you either the main character, side character, female or male lead! Even villains and ness. The task will require you to break the couple who make the world's probability unbalanced.]
"With that only reason?" For some reason, Aliyah felt like the voice shook its head and tsk.
[No. My job is to stop a future disaster that can be too impactful on the future of the world. For example, a protagonist can't marry this person because their children will bring chaos or be the bearer of a curse. Or them being together will invite a calamity or a disaster.] Aliyah somehow gets it but should she agree? What will she get if she agrees to it? Breaking a couple isn't that the same as being a mistress?! It's a sin! It's bad.
[ Ah ah ah! You're not going to be a mistress or other woman, well it's your choice, The system is not pushing you to be so. What will you get? Something that you desire! Or needed. If you refuse, you can go on to the judgment and see if you will reincarnate. Oh, additional information. Too much probability can destroy the world because the blessings are being monopolized by one or two beings. In this job, you can be a man or woman! Or anything! Isn't that amazing? It's one of the fujoshi grandest fantasies! ]
She's a fujoshi, that's tested and proven. But there are things that are better to remain in fantasy! …Is it true she could be a man? She will have a lighsa—Stop! No..no…no…y..yes?—No!
[ What no? Say yes! This is something that will benefit the two of us. You get what I want, I'll give you what you want. I think one of the worlds is…omegave—wait! No touch! You're agreeing if you touch me!]
Aliyah eagerly touches the light. Let's get this binding done! "Hey Bella! Let's do this!"
After finishing the sentence Aliyah was engulfed by pure light before disappearing. Bella, the system, was dumbfounded. That's it? It just takes one word to convince her? Just what is this omegaverse?! With a firm mind, Bella mentally scheduled to visit system Xecs and Ytxis to ask for more advice, their advice is so effective!
