Unrelenting.

A beautiful woman, that was the only way to summaize this person. Bright red hair that reached her thin waist, surrounded by faint sparks of fire. A heavy bust, and lean yet proudly firm thighs. Her long red dress hung loosely from her body, an attempt to hide her beautiful figure, which only met failure. Yet even as the long tails of the dress seemed too long and would be dirtied by the land, they flew with a mysterious gust, and to those with observant eyes they would notice she wasn't even standing, but rather levitating. Her deep rose red lips opened revealing pearly whites, and his orange eyes were lost with the arrogance and anger displacing any charm.

She disdainfully gazed upon all, and especially upon Feng Longwei. She waved her finger, and a deep force pushed Feng Longwei to the ground, causing his knees to peel against the hard ground.

She said, "I asked how dare you ruin the Feng clan name! Dancing on the ground like a pig, am I to take it you admit you are more like cattle than a human?"

Her eyes flashed in deep fires.

Feng Longwei hurriedly spoke, "No Mistress! I apologize for my behavior, I deserve punishment!"

She snorted, "So you know yourself! Get up you bastard, ruining our clans name! You should feel shame! Go to the law hall and get your punishment! But first go kill that bastard."

Feng Longwei trembled, although he had his issues with Li Guang, he never meant for it to go so far. Although this was a martial world, he had never been introduced into Murim. He sensed it's presence, but through luck or deliberation he kept away knowing it gnawed at humanity. Yes he and Li Guang fought over everything from looks, to women, to anything they could, but more so they looked upon each other silently as brothers. Each bearing a respect and consideration for the other, they had known each other since children, and they each sought to take the role of senior brother and earn the others respect.

"Mistress..."

Feng Longwei hurriedly tried to speak, but Feng Jiaying left him no room to talk, "Either you kill him, or I kill you."

Her eyes danced with killing intent.

Feng Longwei felt his heart seize, his life was at it's end, but his consciousness too could come to it's end.

In this dog eat dog world, it was only natural...

Yet Feng Longwei planted his head down, he said, "Please punish this impudent one!"

Li Guang fought his way forward, past the heavy pressure from Feng Jiaying, and begged, "No it is my fault, I'll take the blame. Please punish me!"

Feng Longwei angrily growled, "You idiot, what are you doing!"

Li Guang smirked, "Why is that your business you goose like bastard! I'd just be without an interest should you leave first! Let this older brother take care of this."

Feng Longwei began to cry, "You damn fool!"

Li Guang kept a small smile. "Plus I'll nicely seduce your grandmother in Heaven, and make you respect me as your grandfather!"

Feng Longwei should have been angry, but instead he began to laugh through his tears, "You bastard! I'll bloody wash and clean your dirty mouth one of these days!"

While the two had their meaningful discussion, the cold light in Feng Jiaying grew colder.

She snorted, "Then let me fulfill you both! You can both die!"

She waved her hand, a sword appeared in her hand and she swept it forward, a sharp wind drove towards their necks.

Yet even as they expected pain to fill them, none ever came. They slowly rolled their eyes up, and realized a youth with long white hair, wearing a milk white robe was holding the edge of the powerful sword. They began to thank the nine heavens, and bless this man a thousand times.

Feng Jiaying flinched immediately, and fell back a few meters. Her eyes sharpened.

Even though currently due to the laws of Heaven her Seas of divinity cultivation was reduced to Divine gate realm, she still found it hard to believe a human deference stage cultivator could hold her move.

Wu Long smiled playfully, "Don't you think you are being far too cruel?"

Feng Jiaying frowned.

She took out another sword, and flew towards Wu Long.

Wu Long danced, as blades flew past his face. Blade lights shone, and stoked the back of his again and again.

Wu Long used his fist to strike Feng Jiaying's hand. He snapped his wrist sending Feng Jiaying's sword to the ground. He then moved forward twisting her arm in the process, and collected her on his back before throwing her to the ground.

Wu Long sighed, 'Luckily as a powerhouse in her last life, and this one, she's never needed to resort to martial arts.'

While Feng Jiaying was indeed much more capable and powerful than Wu Long, normally because of her overwhelming advantage in ability she never needed pure control, thus Wu Long had an advantage. While Wu Long had to face a thousand blades in fear, she with her overwhelming speed didn't need the instincts or prowess of a martial artist.

Feng Longwei raised a thumb up unconsciously to Wu Long, he knew how powerful Feng Jiaying was even though she was supposedly weakened to his knowledge, she had easily dispatched his elder brother in a martial battle without any celestial energy.

Wu Long sighed, he had gotten carried away, and now he could be said to be enemies with this woman.

He even wondered whether losing would make her throw aside her feelings for Ye Zheng (him) and reject him. If she did he could only swallow and repent.

Yet he couldn't feel he made an error. He did feel she was too overbearing among the petty squabbles of children.

Yet without a hint of any issue Feng Jiaying quickly stood up, and her eyes was a heat. She stared at Wu Long, carefully analyzing him.

She said, "This is not finished!"

With that she departed in a red beam.

Wu Long frowned, 'Does she mean to kill me? Damn it...'

Yet very soon she returned, and threw a token, "Come here tommorow at the same time, don't blame me for killing you if you don't show up."

Without even saying anything, the token dissolved into some ink that appeared above his hand. It was a red Phoenix on a Parasol tree.

He laughed bitterly, "Guess I can only follow her."

There was a tracking signal on it, and he unfortunately couldn't get rid of it soon.

While he was lost in his thoughts, Feng Longwei, and Li Guang appeared and bowed and said, "Thank you senior!"

Wu Long smiled at the two, he brushed their heads and said, "Haha. You two are just kids, don't mind these things. Just continue to be friends, but don't forget to not break others things, and if you do compensate them. Or else, hahaha, I'm sure I don't need to say more."

The two at first felt their cheeks warm up, they felt quite shameful being talked about like this by a sir who looked similar to their age, and indeed they felt they needed to reflect on themselves. They felt dreadfully embarrassed. Yet the last part made them shiver, and swear to be well behaved young masters.

Wu Long then left, his head aching slightly with the onset of a headache.

The beggar sir looked at Wu Long with shining eyes this time. He had seen Wu Long's expertise. In fact in the past he had seen a Martial Emperor perform, and he noted in comparison to that martial artist, this young lad was 'streets ahead'. ( ´◡‿ゝ◡`)

Wu Long noticing this just shook his head with a smile, in his last life his strength and efforts, were met with fear and outrage, but now respect and admiration.

The night slowly formed above, swallowing the small City, dissolving the hustle and bustle. Silence filled the world, and outside on a tall roof, Wu Long sat.

The constellation's above spun, weaving majestic feats, and great stories for the ten thousand sparks of life to witness. The moon radiated a humble light that filled the world, sinking into the wine of the sorrowful, and accompanying the woeful. Yet beneath the moonlight, flowers served to bloom fulfilling countless lovers fates.

Wu Long calmly gazed into the sky, his bottle of wine slowly falling into his lips.

He hummed a song.

The wind tickled his nose, and he slowly lifted his eyes.

The moonlight washed his face, and he could feel a warmth choke in his heart.

He sang, and drank.

He hummed, and danced.
