Chapter 4 The realization

"You look stunning" Anna says to Giovanna. "As you do you tesola" He says as she wraps her arm around his. They walk back in and Walk back into the room. Anna's heals clicking as they walk in silencing the group. Anna smiles at everyone and stands tall, looking around. "Giovanna? Anna?" Adolpho asks looking at them. "I want to make a statement. What Angelo did to Anna was take her Innocence. We wearing black to mourn the loss of her innocence that was taken away forcefully" He says as they look around the room. Anna looks at Angelo, determination and anger in her eyes. "What you did too me is something I could never forgive." she says as Giovanna stands beside her. Adolpho looks at Anna, "What would you recommend for his punishment?" Anna looks at him and thinks for a second. "I want him to lose the one thing or person he cares about the most" Adolpho nods and says something to the person beside him.

"Anna, Giovanna, Olimpio thank you for coming today. Anna thank you for coming and telling us your story. Giovanna, Anna you can leave now. Olimpio you can leave as well, thank you for coming today and I will see you all in one week." Everyone nods before Anna, Giovanna and Olimpio all walk out together. Olimpio stops as they leave and looks at Anna and Giovanna. "Anna, I would like to apologize that you had to see that side of me so early." She says as pats Anna's head. Anna just nods and smiles "it's okay, I wouldn't expect any less given the current circumstances that we are facing" she says as she thinks to herself 'I never thought a mafia boss would like to pet my head like this' she smiles. Giovanna wraps his arm around her waist and she subconsciously moves closer to him, Olimpio nods and walks over to Anna quickly motioning for her phone. Anna quickly takes out her phone and hands it to her, Olimpio then quickly put her phone number in it and handed it back to Anna, "For emergencies" she says before nodding her head to Giovanna. Anna and Giovanna then walk back to there car as Olimpio does the same. Olimpio is the first to leave as Anna and Giovanna start to pull out.

Anna smiles as she send a quick hello text. Olimpio smiled as she got the text and quickly texted back a hello before driving off. Anna and Giovanna get in the car and let out a soft sigh, "let's go home" she says as Giovanna nods. Giovanna starts the car and they head out to go back to there house. On the drive back home Anna and Giovanna stay silent. Giovanna looks at Anna, and smiles, "tesola are you hungry?" Giovanna asks, "A bit" she says softly. Giovanna nods and drives to a restaurant and parks. "Shall we go in?" he says as Anna just looks at him "funny, But yes we shall" she says giggling as she gets out of the car. Giovanna gets out of the car and walks over to her and holds his arm out for her to hold. Anna wraps her arm around his as they walk in. The hostess took one look at Giovanna and quickly recognized his tattoo. "Oh right this way" she says to them leading them to a private corner booth. "A Waiter will be here in a few minutes to take your order." she says as she smiles and gives them both a menu.

Anna quickly scans the menu and puts it down. "I know what I want to order" Anna says and Giovanna smiles and nods, "as do I." he says as the put there menus down. when there waiter appears. "hi, what can I get for you today?" She asks. Giovanna nods at Anna and she smiles while saying "can I have some lasagna please and a glass of Arcola?" She says with a smile. The waiter nods and Giovanna then says "can I also get what she ordered?" the waitress nodded and walked away to put there order in. Giovanna smiles as he looks at Anna, "So how do you feel?" he asks her softly. She looks at him and nods, "I'm okay, thank you, how are you feeling?" She asks him. He looks at her and nods "I'm okay, I'm glad your doing okay" he says as they smile looking at each other. The waitress appears with there glasses of wine, "your food will be ready in about 15 minutes" she says as they nod "Thank you" Anna says.

The waitress nods and quickly walks off. Anna and Giovanna just look at each other as they wait. After 15 minutes there waitress appears and puts there plates in front of them, "enjoy" she says and walks off. Anna and Giovanna quickly eat there food in peace and when they finish they request the bill. "I'll pay" says Anna "Because you paid for the pizza." Giovanna nods and gently pats her head "okay" he says as Anna pulls her card out of her purse and pays for there meal before they leave the restaurant and head back to the car.

Anna and Giovanna both get in the car and Giovanna starts to drive back to the house. They drive back in peace, when Giovanna pulls up he looks at Anna, "When do you go back to work?" He asks softly. "Two to three days" she says and he nods. They grab there stuff and walk inside and head to there respective bedrooms.

Meanwhile Giovanna puts his clothes away and puts a towel around his waist and hangs up both of his suits. He then walks to the bathroom and starts a bath before getting in and relaxes. He closes his eyes and lets out a sigh feeling the hot water envelope his body, wishing that it could be Anna. He knows that they just met and that he doesn't want to push her but there was no harm in crushing on her right? He thought to himself as he remembered earlier when he helped her wash her back. Her soft skin looked beautiful.

Anna lays on the bed in her room. She sighs as she looks around noticing a tv in the room. She hunts down the remote and turned it on. She quickly hunted down a random channel as she turned the volume until it was just a soft hum in the background. She pulled out her laptop and opened up her emails. She saw that she had an email from one of her friends. She opened it with a sad look on her face. She pressed the reply button and started to write out a response. "Hey, Gabby. It's nice to hear from you again. I've been busy with work you know like the usual. I'm going to be super busy for the next little bit. I will try and email you when I can but I make no promises that I will be replying frequently. Sincerely Anna." She clicked the send button and started to think about Giovanna. She felt something but she didn't know what it was exactly.

However they realized that they barely knew each other. But they couldn't help it, to them it was love at first sight. Anna loved how protective Giovanna was over her and Giovanna loved how Anna would make him feel like he could be vulnerable around her, but nothing good ever truly lasts
