Austin frowned when he noticed Marcus staring too intently at the women. It annoyed Austin that he was staring at Athena, then got more irritated when he saw Maxime look up, and realized that Marcus was not eyeing his sister, but her friend instead. ‘Why is he smiling at Maxime?’ He wondered.
As soon as Marcus entered the room, his attention got pulled to the woman peeling the mangoes. His eyes twinkled, and it felt like his surroundings moved in slow motion. All he could see was Maxime. ‘She is so beautiful… I wonder what her name is?’
“Mr. Strout, are you with us? Did you hear what we said?” Austin asked irritably, which had Marcus coming back to his senses.
“I’m sorry, Mr. Morris. Could you repeat that again?” He said apologetically.
“I want you to focus on treating my sister and nothing else--” Austin was interrupted by his father.
