CHAPTER TWENTY FIVE

I am still in disbelief of the way I was able to fall back to sleep after I had heard the sound of the outrageous voice that nearly scared me out of my skin.

Even though it passed quickly, I was left in a state of complete panic. I had trembled under the bedclothes, thinking that the evil creature that often pursues me in my nightmares of late, had come to attack me in real life.

Luckily, today is another bright day that heaven has made for all the earth’s dwellers. I have dressed up for the day in a glitzy red gown.

I have this thing for red outfits. They often make my day feel special. Victoria had helped me in picking the best design out of the few stylish red dresses that the maids had brought in for me to make choices from, earlier in the morning.
