Victoria had carefully taken her time to make me look prettier than I had ever imagined. She gave my face skin that touch of makeup that left those embarrassing dark circles concealed.
I looked almost flawless. She had also glossed up my lips with a red lipstick. She would have styled my hair, but I insisted on allowing it to fall freely behind my shoulders in beautiful waves.
Today is not far different from the previous days – regrettably empty. The sky is soon going to close its eyes and I am still yet to do something meaningful with my time.
The royal maids have practically taken over all my daily duties. I love being dutiful. That is the reason I find it difficult to adapt to this idle person that I am gradually turning into.
The best I have done for myself so far was to eat, read a few pages of the book I had found in my room, and then eat again.
