 Her eyes snapped open and she sat upright in shock, she was greatly terrified and it was visible in her eyes. 


 She was frightened and worried for her family so she hurried out of bed and hastily walked out of her room. 


Her heart was thumping dangerously and she couldn't tame it. It was scared to death. 


 When she came to the stairs leading down to the living room, she found her parents conversing with Ethel. 


 She froze and her skin turned pale due to fear. She quickly hurried downstairs, barefooted. Their eyes moved to her on noticing her presence. 


 Her father stood up on her arrival while Ethel and Matilda remained seated as they stared at her. Ethel had a wary and frightened look while Matilda had a concerned look. 


Manoah carefully approached her, she had a conflicted look. Ethel was clearly shaken by what she did to him so she didn't know how to get his attention so they could be alone. 


 "I would like to speak with Ethel...alone."
