 Her phone vibrated on the bed and Reese looked away from her dad. Her eyes searched for her phone and when she found it she checked to see who it was. 


 Her eyes were squinted because of the heaviness she felt and her head throbbed painfully. 


She answered the call and put the phone to her ear so she could hear the person clearly. 


"Scarl..." She breathed out her friend's name in an exhausted manner. Reese frowned deeply at herself, she couldn't understand her body anymore and it stressed her. 


 "Are you alright?" There was pure concern in her friend's voice. 


 "I-I'm not doing great Scarl, am not myself but don't worry too much about me...my parents are here for me." Reese assured Scarlett but she wasn't convinced. 


 "Is it true Reese...did a v-vampire bite you? Please tell me Ethel was lying." Scarlett probed her for answers and Reese sighed. 


Her eyelids felt so heavy she could barely keep her eyes open to stay awake.
