23: HE LOST HER A SECOND TIME

"No, I didn't hear anything."

Paul answered while patiently holding the car door and waiting for Manoah to put his daughter in.

"Daddy...I-I don't feel right..."

Reese kept complaining and she was gripping his front shirt so hard it worried him. Manoah had a conflicted look but he took a step with his baby girl in his arms and was about to put her in the car when all of a sudden, his car lights flickered and a gush of wind blew past them. It was so strong and cold at the same time.

"What's this wind?" Patricia questioned as she tried to shield her face from the blowing wind.

'LISTEN! LISTEN TO ME AND DO THE RIGHT THING!'

The strange voice filled Manoah's head with authority and force.

'LEAVE HER HERE AND GO!'

It repeated what it said earlier but Manoah tightened his hold round his daughter, he was afraid but he wanted to be brave for his dear daughter who was in pains.

"DADDY!!!"
