46: STILL SCARED

"Scarlett?"

After a slight pause, he called her name again.

"Scarlett are you alright? Did something happen on the way or did anyone harm you?"

Her cousin kept trying to make her open the door so he could find out what happened to her.

Inside her room, Scarlett had curled herself like a ball on her bed with the blanket draped over her.

She was shaking badly due to the encounter she had with the vampire.

Hot tears ran down her face as she sobbed but not loudly.

His red eyes flashed before her eyes and the memories of the encounter she had with him made her body cringe.

This was the first time she experienced something so unnatural. It made her feel like she encountered the devil.

"I co-cover myself with the precious blood of Jesus Christ," she mumbled to herself amidst her quiet sobs.

She remained that way for more than an hour and James had already left her door to give her privacy since she wasn't in the mood to talk.
