Weird Feelings, I Guess.

Zadkiel's eyes widened as he spotted Melvin heading towards the kitchen counter. "Whoa, man, where have you been for the past week?" he exclaimed, his curiosity evident in his tone.

Melvin shrugged casually, picking up a tangerine from the table and starting to peel it. "Just... busy," he replied with a nonchalant air.

Zadkiel let out an incredulous laugh, swiping a few pieces of the freshly peeled tangerine from Melvin's plate. "Busy? You disappear for weeks without a peep and all you have to say is 'busy'?"

"Hey! And yeah, just caught up in a few things," Melvin replied, his voice slightly lowered.

Raising an intrigued eyebrow, Zadkiel leaned closer. "Caught up? Doing what? You're acting like you've been on some top-secret mission."

Melvin's eyes sparkled with mischief as he chuckled. "Well, not exactly a top-secret mission, but... let's just say I've been tangled up in some unexpected events."
