Goosebumps raised throughout my body at the sight of my own hand. Claws replaced my nails and my normally clean hand was now covered in pure white fur. I frantically crawled around the hut to look for a mirror in spite of the vigorously flowing power making my steps heavy. Muddleheaded, I moved to the end of the room and found a large mirror before me. The view in the mirror was one that I could not believe.

They exchanged worried glances, realizing that they hadn't seen or heard from Melvin since they entered the cave. An uneasy feeling settled in their hearts, and the silence in response to Marcel's inquiry spoke volumes.

"No, I haven't seen or heard from Melvin," Keanu admitted, his voice tinged with concern.

Dáinn shook his head in agreement. "We've been so focused on the challenges within this cave that we just didn't realize the two were not here all along. But we can't assume the worst just yet. Let's hope he's safe."
