CHAPTER 5

I used the skill on myself, and from under my feet, black shadows surrounded me, forming a sphere, and shrunk and disappeared. The area formed by skill was actually quite large inside, and there were shadows everywhere. There were only dark shadows everywhere.

"Shadow Open." As soon as I said the skill was canceled and I was back in my room.

"Now other skill [Secret Shadow Walk]." At the time I used the skill, I was still in my own room, but the surroundings were black and white like in old movies, and I walked around the house for a while and even jumped, but not the slightest sound came out.

I looked at the clock and in a few hours it would be time to wake up.

"This year is going to be really fun." I said with smile.

We got up early in the morning, my father was going to work, Allison and I were going to school.

"If you'd bought me a car or a motorcycle, we wouldn't have bothered so much." I said it while my mom was driving us to school.

"I'm taking you to school, what do you even need?"

"It's embarrassing that your family picks you up every time you go to school, we can't always rely on you to go to and from school, and mountain lions are very active these days, so what can we do if someone attacks us while we're waiting for you? Should I get the Green Arrow next to me to fight the mountain lion?"

"Hey who are you calling Green Arrow?" Allison complained.

"Also, if you encounter a mountain lion, will you bring your sister forward?" Mom said.

"Huh?! Are you really stuck with this? OK, I'll go ahead. But our topic right now is to buy a car."

"Wouldn't it be a bike?"

"Why are you so against buying a car?"

"It's because of you!"

"Because you are a speed freak."

"Well, if you buy a car, I promise I won't exceed the legal speed limit, except in an abnormal situation."

"Abnormal situation?" Mom said.

We got out of the car as we had already arrived at school.

"Take care of your sister."

"Of course after all she is my 'little' sister."

"Hey!"

"Hahahahahaha... Did you get everything necessary? Like a pen."

"Ah? I forgot my pen." Allison rummaged in her bag and said.

"Sigh... What will I do with you?" I handed Allison a pen and went to class. My class was the same class as Scott and Stiles.

After a while, the principal came in with Allison.

"Hello students, this person is Allison Argent, transferred to this school this year and will be studying at this school. Allison, you can move to an empty row. Since Damian Argent is Allison's older brother, can you show her around the school?" Principal said.

"Okay I will." I answered.

After my answer, Allison sat right next to me. Scott was literally watching Allison like an ox staring at the train.

"Hey McCall, how long are you going to keep watching my sister?" I warned Scott.

"Oh sorry dude."

The lesson continued normally. Scott was constantly eyeing Allison from the corner of his eye. Finally the bell rang.

I got Allison and started showing the school. We spent the rest of the time talking about the locker rooms, the library, the teachers' room, the principal's office. As the next lesson started, it occurred to me that we would be in another class, and I had not packed my things.

"Allison, you can go first to the chemistry lab, I forgot to pack my bag."

"Okay don't be late."

Immediately after, I returned to the classroom and was met with an astonishing sight. Anna's eyes were glowing yellow and she looked like she was trying to restrain herself.

I waited for a while for Anna to recover, and she finally calmed herself down. Actually, I realized today that people had auras on them that looked just like cursed energy, but everyone's colors were different, normal people's were white, Anna and Scott were yellow. I understood that this was the indicator of the race of the people. Humans were colorless because they had no attributes. Scott's was yellow because he was a werewolf and was innocent gold.

"Hello."

"Huh?!"

"Hello, can I talk to you?" I said again.

"Who are you?"

"We are in the same class but you don't know me? My name is Damian Argent."

"A-Argent." I could see obvious fear in Anna's eyes. She was right, after all, in the supernatural world, the Argent family are not known for their good hearts.

"Don't be afraid."

"I didn't harm anyone I am totally innocent please don't kill me!"

"Relax."

"I just want to live please don't kill me."

"Sigh... [Shadow Lock]"

As soon as I used the skill, I got us both inside my shadow lock.

"Wh-Where is this place?! Please don't kill me!"

"Calm down, I'm not going to kill you."

"You won't? Then why did you bring me here?"

"Yes, I will not kill you. I brought you here because you started begging me in the middle of class, what kind of situation would I be in if someone broke in? I'm just here to talk."

"Talk?"

"Yes talk. Tell me, were you bitten or born?"

"I'm a born werewolf."

"Were you from the old Hale pack?"

"My family was in the Hale herd, but they couldn't attend because they had other business the night of the fire."

"I see. You know the new alpha that's popping up in Beacon Hills?"

"I heard from my parents but I didn't saw it."

"Well, it's a good thing you didn't see it."

"Did you see it?"

"Yes but that thing is just a monster not an alpha. So tell your family not to call that alpha."

"Are you going to kill the alpha?"

"Not me. I'm going to find another werewolf and make that person alpha. Beacon Hills needs an alpha, not a monster."

After saying that, I canceled the skill and took us both out.
