CHAPTER 6
"My family was in the Hale herd, but they couldn't attend because they had other business the night of the fire."
"I see. You know the new alpha that's popping up in Beacon Hills?"
"I heard from my parents but I didn't saw it."
"Well, it's a good thing you didn't see it."
"Did you see it?"
"Yes but that thing is just a monster not an alpha. So tell your family not to call that alpha."
"Are you going to kill the alpha?"
"Not me. I'm going to find another werewolf and make that person alpha. Beacon Hills needs an alpha, not a monster."
After saying that, I canceled the skill and took us both out.
"A-Are you releasing me?"
"Hm? Of course. I'm not like my grandfather or aunt, I don't like to kill innocent people. You're innocent so I wouldn't kill you because if I killed you then it would be like I killed you just because you were born that way. For me, many supernatural creatures have a right to live."
"Thank you."
"No need."
"Well, Damian, why did you come back to class, so the next lesson was approaching."
"I forgot my bag." And I picked up my bag from the floor.
Chuckle
Anna started to chuckle. Really cute.
Then I looked at the clock and saw that the annoying chemist's class would start in a minute.
"The annoying chemist's lesson begins, run!" After saying that, we quickly made our way to the chemistry lab.
When we entered the door, we saw that the chemistry teacher was inside.
"Mr. Argent and Mrs. Shade, you are late."
Of course I didn't care and started to take my place.
"Mr. Argent, I didn't say you could take your place."
"Why should I take permission, class hasn't started yet, if you look at the clock, there are still 15 seconds."
"Mr. Argent, don't be tactless, you must all be in class when I enter the class."
"The time when I will enter the classroom is determined by the bell by the school, I take the bell as the basis, not you."
"Mr. Argent, this is too disrespectful, to the principal's office immediately!"
"I don't think I did anything disrespectful. So it's disrespectful to talk to a teacher? It wasn't written in the school rules."
"But arguing with your teacher is forbidden!"
"I'm just answering what you ask, I'm not arguing, even you're the one who shouted from the beginning of the conversation, I only answer what you ask."
"Mr. Argent, you will be sentenced after school."
Some of the class were used to this conversation, but Allison was shocked.
Anna took her place and the lesson started again.
Lessons progressed throughout the day as they should have been. There was training for the Lacrosse team right after school.
Lydia and Allison had already bonded and they even decided to watch after school training so I went with them to watch training.
"Shouldn't you be in after-school detention?" Allison said.
"I will never be punished." I answered.
"Allison, Damian never got punished, I don't know how it happened, but every time his chemistry teacher put him on punishment, he never got sentenced. Actually, I'm wondering how you do it?" Lydia asked.
"I'm not doing anything, I'm just walking out."
"That's it?"
"That's it."
"Anyway, the training is about to start, if you want, watch them instead of me." I said that because both girls were looking at me.
"Jackson is on the field." Lydia said.
"Hm?"
"Jackson is my boyfriend, and he's also the team captain."
"Oh I see so who is he?" She asked, pointing to Scott on the field.
"That's Scott McCall, in the same class as us. The person who's been watching you since you entered the classroom." I said while looking for a novel or manga to read on the phone at the same time.
"Was he?"
"Yes, he was looking at you like an ox looking at a train until I warned him.
"E-Excuse me can I sit here?" When I looked in the direction the voice came from, Anna was right next to me, asking permission to sit next to me.
"Of course." I answered.
"Oh? My two biggest failures in school are side by side." Lydia said.
"Hm? What do you mean by that?"
"Hm?"
"I'm talking about not coming to any of my parties. I throw the best parties around here, but you two haven't been to any of them."
"I just, parties are not for me." Anna said.
"I don't like parties, I like hanging out alone and reading books and anime and manga. Crowded environments are not for me."
"Eh? You like anime and manga?"
"Hm? Yeah. You like them too?"
"Yeah actually I love anime and manga since I was little."
From that moment on, Anna and I started chatting about anime and manga, even forgetting that I was an Argent and her parents were werewolves at one point. We even invited each other to our homes for a while and accepted without noticing.
"Then Damian, would you like to come to my house for the weekend? I'll show you my manga collection and even bring it along so we can read it together." Anna said.
"Hm Then what about you on Saturday and me on Sunday?"
"Okay that's fine."
"Mister lone wolf is going to someone's house now? I was actually surprised." Lydia said.
"Just because I like solitude doesn't mean I won't have any friends. A few will suffice. The crowds are annoying and irritating. That's not why I come to parties, all everybody does is get drunk and talk nonsense. Instead, I prefer to meet people with whom I have a common hobby."
"I-It's same for me." Anna back upped me.
"Isn't it boring to be alone?" Allison asked.
"Sometimes but I like it anyway." I answered.
"Umu."
"In the meantime, what happened to the match?" I asked.
"It's just over, you two were so engrossed in the conversation that you didn't watch anything." Lydia said.
"I see. Allison, let's go now."
"O-okay."
"Anna see you later, Lydia, maybe we'll see you later."
And then I went to the school parking lot with Allison.
My mother was waiting for us, leaning against a car.
"Damian catch." My mom said and threw a key at me.
They bought a black 2009 BMW 7. We got in the car and the three of us went home together.
