"You know how I hate you so much." He started, making you confused about where was he trying to go with his words.
He forced his sleepy eyes open and looked at you. You could feel his glare piercing through your body and reaching for your soul, and just for a second, you thought you could get lost in those chocolate orbs of his, forever.
"But somehow, I find myself pulled towards you. It's as if an electric magnet is connecting us. Don't you agree with me Yn?" He asked with a low whisper, caressing the tattoo that adorned your uncovered shoulder, and only now did you notice the red blush on his face.
You would've liked to believe that it's because of how close you were, for the first time in ever. But you knew it was just the alcohol that made that crimson color creep up his cheeks.
"I would never let go of you princess, you're all mine." He said, and those were the last words leaving his lips before they crashed yours.
The kiss was sour, an aftertaste of the alcohol he drank, but at that point, you didn't care, you were too infatuated with his presence and the way his hands traveled from your tattooed shoulder, all down to your waist, sneaking under your string crop top.
The touch of his cold slender fingers made a shot of electricity run down your spine, and you slowly but certainly kissed back.
**
The warm touch of the sunlight caressed your skin, making you open your eyes reluctantly, only to find an empty bed beside you.
Slipping on your clothes, you quickly made your way to the kitchen downstairs, where you were met with the sweet smell of pancakes.
With a stupid smile gracing your lips, you approached your soulmate and subtly sneaked your arms around his waist, back hugging him.
You could feel him tensing under your touch, and just when you were about to take your arms off of him, he beat you to it, harshly pushing them away.
You were taken aback by his sudden action, not finding it familiar with how sweet and careful he was being with you last night.
"Eat your breakfast and leave." He voiced, tone as cold as ice, not even an emotion showing on his face.
"What?" Your voice came out lower than you intended, not quite processing what was happening.
"I said leave!" This time he had shouted, leaving you frozen in your spot, unable to say anything.
When you had finally realized that the situation at hand was serious, the tears at the brim of your eyes couldn't be more evident.
You took some steps towards him, attempting to grab his hand, resulting in him walking away from you.
You looked down at the floor, hands trembling.
This was it... You had dreaded this moment from the first day you met him... And only now was it taking place.
"No... You don't mean it, Christopher... You- you said you will never let go-" Your voice was cracked, tears were already flowing down your cheeks like a river, blurring your sight.
"Don't you understand?" He yelled, the veins of his neck popping out, from how much anger he had in him.
"I don't love you... And I never will. Extinct or not, I will never feel love for you." He uttered ever so cruelly, before dashing out of the house.
And that was the last time you saw him before everything came crashing down.
