A story of grit and triumph over adversity. When Jiang Xuan transmigrates to a primitive tribe, he is barely conscious of a vicious attack by an enemy tribe. Only he and a few others survive. Together, they have to work out how to survive in the wild: building shelter, making tools and weapons, hunting and gathering, and cultivating crops. They face constant dangers from ferocious creatures and hostile tribes. Beneath a lofty mountain with mysterious ancient vines, they decide to build a new tribe, the Vine Tribe. It is time to exact their revenge on the Black Crow Tribe that has ruthlessly destroyed their lives.
five star for just being a fresh thing not an average system novel or average reincarnation just hope it sustains the quality i think true readers of this app wouldn't vote it as it slightly out of their iq scope no picking but i will read the mtl anyway i have long lost hope of any trail read that i like to be even picked
this story slaps lol, read 230 chapters in the raw and it did a good job of making each new conflict feel like it had stakes and a real risk of failure/loss
so good this is my kingdom come this is my kingdom comethis is my kingdom comethis is my kingdom comethis is my kingdom comethis is my kingdom come
let's give it a shot
looks interesting i guess 🙂 z z z
No big spoilers since I've only went to chapter 40 but if its that big of a deal don't read this. There is also a TL;DR with no spoilers at the bottom so you don't have to read everything I wrote. Small Summary: MC wants to make a tribe after the tribe he was in was destroyed and with the help of his sister and friends he makes a base for his new tribe to be settled but since there is only 5 people they will need to lure in new people to join. MC is from earth and uses his knowledge to make his little tribe prosper. MC also found this cool super big vine so he makes his tribe close to it and make his tribe the "Vine tribe". This small summary turned out to be bigger than expected... Translation Quality: Its not bad and was always readable. There were a few mistakes regarding his/her a few times but other than that the TQ was very high if I could I would give it 4.7/5 instead of just 4/5. Stability of Updates: I got here when there was already 40 chapters so I don't know much but since I have to pick I might as well pick higher. Story Development: I have no idea why MC wants to make a tribe but dreams don't need to have reasons so I won't say much but I really liked how the actions taken were seemingly reasonable and not over the type like MC somehow knowing how to make electricity for no reason. Nothing of that nature where MC somehow knows everything for every occasion but more like MC can only use the little info he has from earth which already exceeds the Primitive forest. Character Design: I felt like the other characters were ignored when it came to personalities especially the first 3 the brother and sister meet. Although they each have their own little interactions you really don't know much about them except their names, their roles within the tribe and how they always respect MC. The vagabonds they later find also are ignored since they were only given a number and gender. Only one of the 11 actually got a name and in fact we have the most info about him when it comes to his personality. Sister is talked about a lot more but I still don't feel connected to her in any way even though I know so much about her. Its like she's just used as a guide to the new world for MC and a little info broker for her brother sometimes. MC is very caring and loving towards his friends and family and is always working hard but I haven't seen a single flaw from him making it difficult to relate too. World Background: I really like the world background, all the plants and animals with their own special habits and uses is something I find very interesting. I read another novel that went on and on about the smallest detail only to not have any use but in this novel I see that every description is useful or at the very least not useless. The world is a primitive forest with bugs the size of a child and animals meters big. Their a few magic animals and plants that have special abilities that make the novel a lot more interesting since I'm not a fan of pure urban settings and knowing there are special abilities and lifeforms I can look for exciting fights in the future. The forest is called the "Southern Wilderness" or something similar so I think that later on MC will spread to other regions. TL;DR: Good translations and the story is very interesting currently. Characters can a little bit of work but the world setting is very well done. Small aspects of magic and the supernatural for now maybe will increase or degrade but I am currently enjoying it. Small Summary: MC wants to make a tribe after the tribe he was in was destroyed and with the help of his sister and friends he makes a base for his new tribe to be settled but since there is only 5 people they will need to lure in new people to join. MC is from earth and uses his knowledge to make his little tribe prosper and so far has already added 11 people. Every tribe has their own divine protector and MC was very lucky and found a powerful one. Its not said that if its actually a god like its praised as since in his destroyed village the god protector never showed up but at least the one he found is real.
A decent story that's well written and actually worth reading. I hope this will get picked up and translated properly. Till then I'll have to make do with MTL which is less than ideal.
how do I start this one... Guess I could go with, the story is about a tribe in a possibly alternative version of the past earth (why only possibly is cause we have no idea what life was genuinely like back then, only little tid-bits where understood) during the middle of the stone age. when you look at it from the point of view of a modern life, you see something too out of place. overall 10/10... just needs a bit of refining and a little bit of extra world building, and it will be perfect 🥰
primitive workd where protagonist uses his knowledge of the modern world (guessing that’s his golden finger) to establish a tribe. also worships an ancient vine that gives em power in exchange for offerings.
So far this is really great! I havent read the other books on this trial read, but I definitely don’t think that they can be better than this.
Did they drop this book? I dont see it anymore in the trial read or voting. A A A A A A A A
The novel is okay. So far there is no up or down just steady exploration/ development. No excitement so if u have the patience you might enjoy it of not well. note this review is as of chp30
This novel's not my cup of tea. I don't mind some plot holes but this author writes sentences as if they were directed to kids. I can't stand reading that tone, as if mocking the readers. The introduced characters sometimes behave as if they were 5 reincarnated teenagers from modern world, not natives of the primitive world.
I read all the available raws and can confidently tell you to go ahead and enjoy the novel. It's sooo good and will make you crave for more.
Finally we got relatively fast-paced kingdom-building! The world seems fascinating, it's just that the characters are a bit lackluster for now. The only thing resembling this book would probably be 'From Chief To The Emperor' by Killerpants (in HIATUS).
