The Isle of Pirates

"Ah! The Isle of Pirates. Every pirate knows the Isle of Pirates."

When Prince Weiford told Ren Jidian about the dream-hopping he did last night, he did not expect him to respond this way.

Even Ren Jidian did not expect to respond this way. The Isle of Pirates sounds so far-fetched and silly to anyone else, but because he has his memories as Captain Renan Jacoby, he kknowsfor a fact that it does indeed exist.

"It's no Tortuga, or Port Royal, or the Republic of Pirates in the Bahamas..... But it stands pretty firmly on its own here at the Mediterranean." Ren Jidian said. "After all, every ship needs some careening to make sure the speed is sufficient to outrun navies and other privateering or pirate ships."

"Careening?" Prince Weiford raised an eyebrow.

He had heard of the other islands Ren Jidian mentioned. All of these had long been destroyed long ago during the downfall of the Golden Age of Piracy in the Caribbean.
