Needless to say everything that happened after that heated discussion was a blur for Juri. It felt like it was many hours before Juri could calm her nerves. Normally on a long ride like this she would be actively chatting with Riva while taking in the beautiful passing scenery through the open carriage window.

Instead she might have well been alone in the carriage for the lack of conversation had dwindled between the two women to nothingness. Riva seemed to be just as preoccupied with her own private thoughts and she too was withdrawn.

Juri didn't bother to ask what was bugging her when she was practically in the same boat. In fact, they both were appreciative of the silence in the carriage as it gave them both time to contemplate their next move.
