Chapter 13: Did she ever say she wanted a divorce?

Looking at Ming Wan full of steaming anger, Ming Yao couldn't help but laugh a little.

She held the cat in her arms and lay down on the spacious and soft couch.

The corners of her eyebrows raised slightly, her beautiful eyes gently moving. Without much of an expression, she was already brimming with allure.

"What are you talking about, little sister? Did I ever say I wanted a divorce?"

Ming Wan was startled, then immediately said, "Sister, you were clamoring for a divorce the past few days. You even said that if your husband didn't agree, you would elope with the man you love."

As soon as Ming Wan spoke, the temperature in the room suddenly dropped several degrees.

Even though Gu Siting did not like Ming Yao, no man could tolerate his wife brazenly cuckolding him!

Thinking of the scene from last night where he 'caught the adulterers in bed,' his face darkened as if it could scrape off a layer of frost.

Gazing at the woman who was lying lazily on his bed, he spat out a word with an icy voice, "Get out!"

Ming Yao rolled her eyes in secret.

No wonder the former Ming Yao didn't like this husband; he was indeed too cold!

However, Ming Yao didn't mind. If he could really cure her insomnia, suffering a little grievance was no big deal!

Ming Yao threw a coquettish glance at Gu Siting, her red lips curving slightly, her smile enchanting and poignant, "Husband, little sister seems to have a bit of misunderstanding about the intimacy between a husband and wife, doesn't she?"

With that said, Ming Yao looked at Ming Wan, "I just had a little spat with my husband. Who asked him to focus on work all the time and neglect me? I deliberately found a man to provoke him, but in my heart, my husband is handsome and dashing, tall and straight, wealthy and powerful. How could that weakling surnamed Xiao compare to him?"

Ming Wan, "...…"

Steward Zhong, "...…"

Gu Siting, "...…" Who was the woman who said she wouldn't even choose a dog over him?

Ming Yao lazily yawned, a hint of sleepiness in her beautiful eyes. Her long hair cascaded down, and her languid, careless demeanor was unwittingly seductive and utterly charming.

Steward Zhong didn't dare to look at her too much.

How come when he saw the wife this time, it was as if she became a different person?

He had never realized before how beautiful she was!

Ming Wan clenched her back teeth.

Internally, she cursed at Ming Yao relentlessly.

Vixen, wench, idiot!

Did she really think that just by relying on her beauty, she could mesmerize the Fourth Master?

The Fourth Master would never fancy such a superficial, busty airhead!

Ming Yao didn't give Ming Wan a chance to speak. She stood up from the bed, her voice indifferent, "Little sister, how much longer do you plan to stay in my and my husband's bedroom? Do you find your brother-in-law's physique attractive?"

Ming Wan's face turned red.

"Even if he looks good, you shouldn't stare too long. After all, he is your sister's man. You should know to avoid suspicion, understand?"

Ming Yao brushed the hair from her cheek to behind her snow-white ear and instructed Steward Zhong, "Steward, please show the guest out!"

She wasn't speaking sharply or fiercely, but the aura around her seemed to undergo a sudden transformation.

An undeniable aura of solemnity and sharpness that people couldn't resist.

Steward Zhong directly pulled the reluctant Ming Wan out of the room.

Regardless, the matters between husband and wife should be left for them to resolve on their own!

After Ming Wan and Steward Zhong left, the bedroom returned to a deathly silence.

Even Little Snowball in Ming Yao's arms sensed something was amiss. It opened its round eyes, glanced at the handsome yet cold-faced man, and burrowed its fuzzy head further into Ming Yao's embrace.

"Little Snowball, go to sleep!"

Little Snowball protested with a "meow."

Gu Siting walked towards Ming Yao.

Seeing this, Little Snowball scurried out of Ming Yao's arms like it was fleeing for its life and quickly bolted away.

Ming Yao, "..." Even the cat was afraid of him; he truly lived up to the title of a tyrant!

If it weren't for her needing something from him, she would have also liked to escape right now!
