CHAPTER 8:COOK

"I'm bored" Hannah replied and Mia was expecting that answer "well we can have fun once you are done with all these"Mia said while looking around "okay"replied Hannah with Mia who assisted her in cleaning the house.

They later went out to the park that was nearby to enjoy the beautiful scenery and Hannah bought them movie tickets and Mia didn't refuse and they both enjoyed the movie in each other's company. They later came home to watch horror movies

Having a long day mia slumped on the couch feeling tired as she closed her eyes "that was fun"said mia "I agree" Hannah replied smiling ."I'm so hungry"Mia stood up going to the kitchen and Hannah followed"I can cook for you" she said and Mia halt 8m her steps turning to the former "and what do you want to cook?"she asked

Hannah took her time to answer "tteokbokki"she finally said "huh"mia confirmed as if she didn't hear the last time "tteokbokki" Hannah said again

she watch Hannah go to take out the ingredients . Hannah wasn't much of a good cook since she is only perfect in cooking some food and Mia knew this.

She sometimes teaches Hannah how to cook some of the food food she doesn't know and Hannah is really fast learner if you teach it to her correctly

Both friends knew what they were good at and what they are not good at but Hannah saying she wants to cook tteokbokki really made mia wondered if she would get it right.

"you should sit down and wait till it is ready" Hannah said and Mia just t sat down trying not to tell Hannah to not cook "it wouldn't have that bad" she convinced herself.

Hannah on the other hand was preparing the food and mixing the sauces together before putting it to aboil

The food was then ready and she brought forward to mia who was looking at the tteokbokki and contemplating whether she should eat it or not "but Hannah spend so much time to cook it so it would be rude not even have a bite"she thought "it may not be as bad as I think". she took the chop sticks and have bite which turned out to be a bad idea as her lips curled and she immediately drank the glass of water beside her.and gulped it .The tteokbokki was too salty.

"what is it?, are you okay?"Hannah asked as she saw Mia's reaction right after she tasted the food but mia didn't reply and instead rushed upstairs to her room and into the the bathroom leaving Hannah confused in the kitchen"does it taste bad?*she asked herself while looking at the food then her gaze shifted to the direction where mia went taking the chopsticks she took a pinch of the tteokbokki and tasted it only to cough out.

she then rushed upstairs to apologise to mia as she started regretting cooking the food

"I shouldn't have let her cook it"mia groaned "she could have just cooked something else" mia turned the faucet 9f the tap and splashed water on her face a few times

Opening the bathroom she came out and immediately the door to the room opened and Hannah came in"I'm so so sorry ,are you okay?"Hannah worriedly asked

"I'm fine but don't ever cook anything that you can't cook properly mia walked to the bed and laid down on it "are you still hungry?"Hannah asked "I think I've lost my appetite"mia said as she opened her eyes making Hannah think mia is angry at her "I'm sorry' Hannah apologized again "I am not angry"mia replied.

Mia can't blame Hannah of the food having a "not so good" taste Hannah just wanted to cook something different which didn't go well but trying something new doesn't have to go well , Hannah just made a slight mistake in the tteokbokki so mia isn't upset but she still wished she had prevented Hannah from cooking it and she wondered if Hannah would try to cook it again.

Putting that thought aside " bring your materials ,let's make more cloth patterns" mia suggested smiling and Hannah took it as Mia not been upset with her and she brought all the things she needed with Mia drawing the pattern and Hannah cutting it out . Hannah was into fashion designing and Mia is the one who helps her with the pattern

They both made more designs together with Mia drawing 5he patterns and giving some suggestions to Hannah

Jason had told Ryan that to handle a meeting he had with someone which Ryan would have refused if not for Jason's pestering ,he had expected the meeting to be with an investor but when he got to the location which is a restaurant he saw a lady on the reserved table and knee immediately this was all Jason's doing

"he should have seen this coming "he thought then he received a text from his brother

Jason :. "I know it isn't what you were expecting but it is about business , trust me"

"should I though?"he asked himself referring to when Jason texted to trust him and another text came in

Jason: "I told grandpa about it"

At this Ryan narrowed his eyes "it might be about business otherwise I will definitely kill that idiot". The lady who was already sitted noticed Ryan approaching her table and her smile brightened.

Before she could say hello to him Ryan sat down and she felt disappointed that Ryan didn't even spare a look at her "nevertheless she still has time to impress him". "well Mr Garcia, I haven't properly introduced myself to you yet I'm..." she couldn't complete her sentence when Ryan cut her off "get to the point"he said curtly

The lady tried to control her emotions . However Ryan was feeling bored all of a suddenly and worked on his phone ignoring the lady's presence complete while she tried to remember if she had said something to offend him .

This was not the first time Ryan was set up on a blind date neither 8s it the first time that girls had tried to get on his good side in the name of business Ryan just sees them as gold diggers who wants more fame and money nothing more than that.

He found the lady sitting in front of him to be more annoying than his brother Jason. The lady paused for a while to study Ryan's expression which the man noticed and he abruptly stood up and left the restaurant

He entered his car and his assistant who was on the front seat "is everything alright boss?" he asked "drive"Ryan ordered . His assistant wanted to tell Jason what happened as Jason had told him to keep him updated but he couldn't as he is his driver today "that little scumbag,he doesn't have to involve me in his dirty plans" mark tried to text Jason but kept it for later .

He needs to keep his focus on the road to avoid getting into Ryan's bad side all because of Jason

"arrange a business trip in country M " Ryan said looking out the window he wouldn't spend not more than a day in country M . Ryan plans on teaching Jason a good lesson but knew the latter won't learn his lesson and even if he did ,Jason would use any opportunity to make his dirty plans.

He arrived at his mansion and his phone beeped he opened it to see text messages from Jason.

Jason: "bro , I found out you didn't stay there for an hour"

why are you so stone hearted?"

"you broke the poor girl heart"

"come on brother, answer me"

"you are not even replying"😟😟

"where are you now?"

"seriously, answer me bro"

Ryan wished he was the only son but fate took its own turn and gave him a brother like jason
