CHAPTER 9:I WON

Ryan was already in his room by this time,he ignored the texts and dropped his phone on the bed .He went towards 5hebshelf containing files and began going through them .The room was silent and the only sounds that can b

e heard are the ones made by the flipping of papers . Ryan continued working until two hours passed and Ryan was already exhausted

He laid back on his bed as he stared at the ceiling blankly before closing .his eyes to sleep . The next day Ryan prepared for his meeting at country M . He walked to the bathroom to have his bath .

Coming downstairs in his business suit he walked to stand in front of one of the windows that gives a clear view of the garden as he enjoyed the scenery in front of him Some time passes and he went outside where his private jet was waiting for him and it took off

Hannah was the first one to wake up she went to the bathroom to brush her teeth before she went downstairs and decided to arrange all the house before mia wakes up. .

The previous night Mia later prepared another food before they went to sleep . Although mia was not upset with her she made a note to ask is next time. Mia told her the only mistake she made with the tteokbokki was the salt and Hannah took note of it . Done with setting things in their usual place as last night both friends slept late and made a mess of they house

Hannah went to the kitchen to prepare their breakfast,she wasn't used to cooking as Mia is the one who mostly cooks each time she came there . Hannah might not be used to cooking but it doesn't want she does not know how to prepare some food only this time she cooked the one that she already knows. Done with the cooking , Hannah's phone then ring ,She stared at the caller's ID before she picked the call.

Mia had just woken up as she went downstairs to find the entire free of mess "did Hannah do this?" it was very rare for Hannah to clean up the house without calling mia for help so IA wasn't completely surprised. "speaking of Hannah , where is she?"mia then walked to the kitchen to find her and Hannah turned in her direction with a smile "good morning"came the greeting from the latter "morning"is greeted back

Mia noticed Hannah had made breakfast and this time mia didn't have second thoughts about eating it and she sat down to have her breakfast and Hannah joined in. Mia knew that it isn't all food Hannah can cook so she made a note to teach her when she has time .

As if suddenly remembering something *oh, Alex is in the city"Hannah said and Mia looked up at her as she asked"are you joking?" taking the water to drink "do I look I'm joking?"Hannah asked back

"no ,but how did you know ?" mia sked to confirm "his sister told me"replied Hannah "I find it rude that he didn't bother to call us when he reached the city , I'm definitely giving him a piece of my mind" she said . The two later prepared for the class they have that morning . Hannah spent her whole day with Mia as she made up her mind in not make any cloth designs for that day

The next day Hannah and Mia were in the living room with Hannah laying on the couch and busy with her phone while Mia was on the floor also busy with her phone but with her head phone on they both seem to be minding each other's business. Both were doing their own work

"ding dong" the door Bell rang and Hannah who didn't have any head set on felt lazy to stand up and didn't even bother to check who it was .When it was rung the third time Hannah groaned and stood up to open the door and passed by mia who saw her going towards the door

When she opened the door her eyes brightened as she wasn't expecting fir the person to show up today "Alex!!"she exclaimed as she gave him a hug breaking free from the hug as Alex came in and Mia who looked up to see who it was put her head phone around her neck a smile gracing on her lips she stood up and also gave him a hug before giving him a hard smack 9n the head..

"hey ,that's a strange way to welcome your friend he said as he went in like the house was his and sat in the couch "it serves you right for not calling us as soon as you got here" mia said

"and what if I told you I brought something for you too something you would like" Alex said. All three of them have been best friends since they were little so they are literally childhood friends and he knew he had to buy gifts for them even before the plane landed "hold on"he said as he went outside and towards his car leaving both Hannah and Mia curious

.He came back in with with a bunch of packaged boxes and Mia and Hannah went ahead to open it . The smaller box contains a lot of chocolates for both 8a and Hannah and he also bought the dress that they wanted when they sent the picture to him .There were two more gifts left and Hannah followed Alex to help him ,they came in with two pklay stations that got is excited.

Mia insisted they play games and the other two agreed .They set up the game and took their seats ,Alex suggested they play mortal Kombat, and the first two to play were Alex and Mia. Alex chose his character as Scorpio while Mia chose her's as Lord Raiden . And the game began the sounds of the game could be heard in the room with Hannah who was watching the both of them.

"you have really gotten better at playing video games but let the master show you how it is done ,The game continued with Mia having the upper hand . Alex lost and mia was declared the winner.

It was Hannah's turn to play ,she took Alex's place and chose her character. The game started with Hannah wanting to beat mia. Among the three of them is was the best at video games non of the two had beaten her before it was as if she was getting better every second she played the games .The three of them always had fun playing video games together .

The game Continued and at first it looked like Hannah was having the upper hand,she was already celebrating, thinks at last she would beat mia in video games even iff it is just once but is quickly turned the tables around and defeated Hannah .

"I won,I won,I won" she cheered loudly .It was now Alex and Hannah's turn to play at some points Alex would beat and win against Hannah and Hannah would do the same on another around with Mia being the only audience.

Alex was about to have another game with Mia when his phone beeped. He checked the texts that came from his secretary and another from his little sister Alexa "what's wrong?" Mia asked "Alexa is at the airport"he replied "huh , I thought she came with you" Hannah said as Alexa was the one who told her about Alex arrival so she assumed they came together "she had something to take care of and now she wants me to pick her up and I..." he couldn't complete his sentence when Hannah interrupted "then go do that why are you still here" she said "if you'd let me finish fool" Alex said standing up making Hannah upset

"who are you calling a fool ?"Hannah asked feeling annoyed and the two of them began arguing with Mia in the middle ,and she managed to stop their argument "I have a business meeting so I wouldn't be able to pick her up so u"..." "you want us to go pick her up" mia completed his sentence

"okay we will"it was Hannah who spoke this time and Alex left for his meeting "and I agreed because she is less annoying than you " she added loud enough for Alex to hear
