Chapter 32: What's There to Fight About?

Gray’s POV

I slide into the backseat of Glen’s large SUV, relishing in the sensation of the cool air blowing against my skin from the air vents on the back of the center console. The summer heat in Los Angeles is no joke, and something I can’t stand.

A soft sigh escapes my lips as my head falls back against the headrest. My eyes gaze across Remi’s apartment building as we leave the back of the building and slide onto the street, merging in with the traffic with ease.

“Good night?” Glen, a man of very few words, says as his eyes peer at me through the rear-view mirror.

Images of Remi laughing and smiling on the rooftop bar last night bring a smile to my face. I have zero f*cking clue why she makes me feel like a school kid with his first crush. I’ve been with a lot of women in my life, but nothing compares to how my body and mind feel when I’m with Remi. She is like a delicious drug I’ve now become addicted to.
