chapter 5: chakra control 1

Chen picked up the phone and dialed jane, it went through after the second ring "hello!! Hello!!.... jane can you hear me" chen asked

"yes I can, you don't need to scream into the phone before I hear you" jane replied

"any news so far? I have already contacted my lawyer and I have signed over the company to you for now, the papers will be delivered to your door step to finalize the agreement" chen said

"no one has come forward yet with an offer for the company yet and the employees are still a bit shocked that you handed over the company to me in your will, they are even speculations that we were having an affair before your death and that the company should have been handed over to someone more competent" jane said

"I don't think there is anyone as competent as you are in the company we have been working together for almost five years now so keep you head up and handle the company till we can put things in order"

"ok boss" jane replied

Chen left the office to the gym as it had been a while since he worked out, on getting to the gym he saw Klaus there already working out "you never stop working do you" chen asked Klaus

"I stop working when I am dead" Klaus replied, you know going out there the rush of adrenaline and all that feeling took me back to the good old days when we killed to take away the edge

"I still have nightmares about those missions, remember how many friends we lost, remember crawling over the bodies of your friends, your hands coated in their blood. I do not know about you but for me that was not the good old days" chen said

Whatever you say man come on let's get to work Klaus barked at chen, after the workout they went to grab some food and freshen up

"let me see what the system has for me today " chen thought , chen could see that his stats still remained the same after a day "I don't even get bonus points for waking up" chen thought , he could see a notification that he hadn't opened before and decided to open it

"what do you mean is shall now be transported, I never agreed that I would be going anywhere" chen screamed

Chen could feel himself getting dizzy and by the time his dizziness faded away he could see himself in a very weird cave with lots of stalactite that were dripping with water.

"what am I doing here" bryan asked few seconds ago I was having the best sleep I've had in quite a while and now I am here can someone explain to me what is going on

Chen was quite shocked he did not believe that his friends would be transported along with his to this strange island "the system asked if I would like to learn chakra control and I accepted , boom! Here we are"

"let's move and see what this place has to offer" prince said

While going through the cave chen noticed that whenever a water dropped from the stalactite onto his skin he got more energized it felt refreshing like taking a carbonated drink on a sunny afternoon, they finally got to the end of the cave they could see an even weirder water body, it had all the colors of the rainbow and the sand at the bank of the river was colored pink.

"it seems like the system planned a vacation for us" victor said

As they were about to exit the cave they found themselves facing about ten bald men with monk robes, tribal marks on their face and spears on their hands

"who are you and why are you here" one of the bald men asked, he had a round face and a long scar on his forehead with a slightly smaller build to the rest

"we just found ourselves here accidentally, we were just looking for a way to leave, so if you can just show us the way out of here we would be out of your hair in no time" romeo replied

The bald headed man with a scar laughed "no stranger enters this island and leaves alive"

"is he threatening us well if they wont help us out we might as well beat them up and find our way out of here, because this island is already giving me the creeps" Klaus said

One of the monks shook his head angrily and stepped forward "senior can you let me handle this" he said

The scar faced monk nodded in approval

"is he really going to fight the six of us at once what does he take us for?´prince asked

"well lets show him we are not your everyday joes" victor said

The monk moved so fast that their eyes couldn't even trace him and they saw prince flying through the air before crashing into the cave walls

"well I can see where his confidence comes from" Klaus said

Lets form a circle around him and close in on him do not give him a chance to break the circle when we close down on him his movements will be restricted and we will have him where we want him chen said they formed a circle around the monk and started moving closer chen threw a fist quickly towards the face of the monk, the monk seeing the fist smiled to himself and parried the fist towards the side knowing there was someone behind him, chen's fist connected with romeo's nose

Making a sweeping motion with his legs the monk took down both Klaus and victor and proceeded to knock bryan out with an upper cut, chen couldn't understand what was going on he actually thought he had restricted the movement of the monk but right now it seemed like they were at an even greater disadvantage compared to when there was a bit of distance between them before Klaus and victor could recover the monk knocked them out using the back of his hand to strike their heads, chen summoned his guns and started firing ant the monk but it looked like the bullet was stopping mid air, suddenly he couldn't see the monk any more but he felt someone breathing down his neck,

"even the children here fight better than you" that was the last thing chen heard before being knocked out
