17. Towards the Goal. [1]

When Neel woke up he realized that he overslept, which was something unexpected so he thought to himself.

'So my sleeping habit will also change because of the potion.'

"No choice but to complete the quest."

He said out loud.

Neel was left with no choice but to complete his task. If he didn't complete it now after 14 Hestian days or 7 Earthen days he was to suffer more sensitivity issues.

Now was not the time to sit still.

"In Hestia temperature, low resources of food and water will affect. On Earth, just the chances of the cycle shortening to 7 and half days exist. So if I just did six hours on Earth then return at night time on Hestia and continued this I will be able to complete the task in 20 days. I will have to stretch my limits to the point I will feel death in front… but there is no choice if I sit idly then it will come and bite my ass after the first cycle completes. And the damage will be simply terrifying.

"Normally a person with medium exercise can easily do 3 Surya-Namaskar per minute however my speed is reduced because of the muscle pain, thirst, and hunger…"

Plans started formulating inside Neel and he concluded.

"Ok, I will sacrifice sleep for a few days. And continue Surya-Namskar at night in Hestia and remaining time on Earth where I won't have a problem with food and water."

He outlined the easiest plan possible.

"I don't know if my theory is right or wrong…but I will still try."

He decided to give his day number two for an experiment in Hestia.

He once again started doing Surya-Namaskar with his naked upper half.

It was morning in Hestia, so the temperature was still rising.

After four hours the temperature became unbearable, but there was a subtle smile on Neel's face when he looked at the slip.

{Task progress: (842/100,000)}

His progress in four hours was not that satisfying but he was not drained as he was the day before. He was able to tolerate today's pain.

'So the harsher the environment, the faster my body will adapt.'

He thought this was one of the effects of the 'Potion of Determination'.

Oblivious to the fact that he was a monster in himself.

"Now the temperature has risen let's head back home. Log off"

After logging off he went to meet a certain robot who was wearing a maid costume and said:

"Lucy, bring some more protein bars, and after every thirty minutes bring water bottles to my room."

"Yes, young master."

Lucy replied without a second's late.

This made Neel pause for a second and glance at the robot maid for a second. And he noticed that she did not turn back his doubts solidified. However, without saying another word, Neel decided to take his leave.

'Young master, haaaa… why you are so fast at understanding things?'

Lucy knew her young master has started doubting her and also that he will ask immediate questions once he completes whatever task he is doing urgently.

She will be thoroughly interrogated until he gets all of his answers. After all, even if he trusts her they have been only together with her for five years.

"I just hope, he doesn't hate me."

She will break any contract made with anyone but will not let her young master hate her.

While Lucy was getting frustrated and depressed at her circumstances, Neel continued doing Surya-Namskar and in just an hour he completed 1000 Surya-Namaskar.

{Task progress: (1000/100,000)}

"Hehe… although this is painful looking at the progress still makes me happy. Two more hours and I will return to Hestia…Munch... Ah! My muscles are sore…"

He thought while eating another protein bar.

Once he was completed with another two hours of Surya Namskar he went to Hestia.

After opening his eyes inside the shed he saw the slip:

{Task progress: (1189/100,000)}

Looking at the slip in his hand he understood that this method was working.

In just a few hours combined from Earth and Hestia, he was able to complete the goal in a faster way.

'But it's still not enough"

Neel steeled his will.

'I have to complete around 5000 Surya Namaskar if I want to end this thing in 20 days.'

"Haa… it is nearly impossible in twenty days… That cycle will also get its first round… things will get 15 times more difficult."

His brain was getting numb but suddenly a thought struck.

"So this thing was to not to be fought by the brain but by Muscles from the start itself…. Hahah~"

Indeed. Why waste time thinking inevitable?

Just do the task without using your brain and you will work much better!

Was a simple solution to the task.

"So putting it simply the 'Potion of Determination' will just not make you sensitive but also will make you think more… so this is what hinders in war. Your thoughts are the biggest enemy in war. Just focus on the task Neel, focus!"

Neel slapped his cheeks to put some motivation inside and started with the plan.

Just like that at night in Hestia, a half-naked boy was doing twelve divine yoga forms one after another without even glancing at his surroundings.

At one point Neel stopped focusing on the pain, thirst, and hunger subconsciously and solely focused on what he was doing.

This continued for the rest of the night and only stopped when all of a sudden Neel started feeling a temperature rise. it was morning right now and he stopped only when he saw his surroundings were brightening.

"Huff… huff… I… I think I did something… Fuck!...agh!!"

He started feeling muscle pain which was gone at some point and now returned with more impact.

Looking at the slip next to him Neel had a wry smile on his face.

{Task progress: (3669/100,000)}

One part of him was happy looking at the progress while the other part was feeling anxious about the remaining task.

"Log… off"

He spoke in a painful voice.
