18. Towards the Goal [2]

After logging out of the game Neel felt slightly better. Even though his muscles were somewhat sore, thirst and hunger were also in bearable condition.

"Haaa… this is tougher than I thought. But it is… somewhat… exciting."

I need a break.

He said while munching some protein bars and chugging some water.

"I feel like a beast… thirsty, hungry, and mad?"

He was losing his rationality at this point.

"I wonder how those soldiers survived after this potion."

After some time he once again started doing his task. And this time also he did one thing: stop thinking about anything except the goal.

He started doing Surya Namaskar and this time, there was a change; he was doing his task in a rhythm.

First Asan, second Asan, third Asan then fourth… twelfth then again first…

This cycle continued and unbeknownst to Neel, he had closed his eyes but still, he was able to feel what he was doing.

He continued this for an unknown amount of time.

His body was drenched in sweat. But his body felt nothing. He only visualized the next Asan he was going to perform.

His mind and body were synchronized.

He stopped only after his body gave up. Once his body stopped he coughed and threw everything he ate and drank.

"Brghwa…. Huff… this is nearly… imp… possible… brghwaa…"

Lucy immediately came and saw her young master's condition.

Without panicking she immediately lifted him and saw that he was unconscious.

"This trial… I wonder what conditions made young master… like this…"

After cleaning Neel and the room Lucy sat near the bed and waited for Nell to wake up.

"Ugh… my head…"

She heard a small growl which made the robot maid calm her sea of thoughts.

"Fuck… I need to log in."

Neel said even after his condition was bad.

Without glancing at Lucy nor even considering her presence Neel woke up and with unsteady steps he grabbed the helmet put it on the head and logged in.

Lucy who was staring at her young master took critical damage from Neel's actions. Before she could even say any word Neel was inside the game.

The maid robot was unable to grasp why her young master ignored her.

This was something she would never accept, but alas. So she patiently waited for Neel to come out of the game.

Inside the 'In-Game Online,' Neel looked at the slip.

{Task progress: (6900/100,000)}

"93,100 remains."

This was something troublesome.

But once again he decided to continue. It was nighttime in Hestia and Neel don't want to waste time.

He continued till the night and 8 hours later he completed 10,000 Surya Namskar.

Not taking any break and sleep made his body ache in different areas.

"Ten percent of the task is complete now only ninety percent remains."

He breathed a sigh.

It took him 3 Hestian days to complete 10 percent, he gave two days for experiment while two days for implementation.

"Haa, the cycle will complete on the 15th day, and from the 16th day, things will become tougher."

'There is no free lunch in the world, but this was rather you have to pay for survival.'

He was once again losing his rationality as both things means the same.

Sigh. (Narrator sighed)

"Now back to earth…log off."

Once he got out of the game he found a robot in a maid costume sitting next to him.

"Young…sob...master."

Lucy was about to break but her young master stopped her.

"I know you that you know some or many things about this game… But now is not the time… remember, when I finish this given task I will ask questions, if not answered then…"

Although the first part of his speech was warm the second part was colder than ice.

Lucy understood that if she lied or tried to ignore her young master, she will never be able to serve him again.

"I-I understand."

She replied.

"Good… Now I may once again puke and become unconscious, but I want you to be here and lay me on the bed so that I will be able to cover up maximum, once fifteen days in Hestia ends my sensitivity will increase by five folds. It will be hard to live and I will behave like a beast… so don't mind me."

Neel replied and immediately started completing his given task.

While he didn't wait for Lucy's reply, Lucy on the other hand was looking at Neel with her eyes wide open.

'T-the Potion of Determination!!!!'

She thought inwardly.

'Fuck!! Who is that bitch! Who gave young master Mythical grade Potion?'

She was cursing the person.

It was understandable because.

[Let the info dump begin:]

In the primordial era, the wars among the Gods, the Demons, the Dragons, and the Humans were uncommon.

There was peace. However, there was no trust amongst these races.

This led to every race preparing for war if happens at any time.

For this, the Dragon God of Alchemy came up with an ideal training potion for the soldiers which was 'The Potion of Determination.'

However, here's the catch.

There were grades for this potion.

That is Mythical grade, Legendary grade, Divine grade, unique grade, and rare grade respectively.

The soldiers on the frontline were not worth for Mythical grade, so the prepared Mythical grade potion was diluted to afford the potion and only given to the worthy ones.

That is how the potions were created.

Then came the effects of the potion.

The Mythical grade potion was customizable from the cycle of 1 day to the cycle of 30 days.

All other potions were degraded once their grade dropped from the Mythical grade.

Lucy understood this immediately after Neel said 15 days because all the other potions were set from a cycle of 40 days to 60 days. That means the person who consumed any potion below mythical rank will have a lot of time to complete their goals.

Now, why was Lucy angry with the person who gave the 'Mythical' grade potion to Neel?

Quiet simple.

The hierarchy of the potion was as follows.

The Mythical grade for the Dragon Emperor.

The Legendary grade for the royal family and army chief.

The Divine grade for the dragon generals.

The unique grade for the defense line of the army.

The rare grade for the frontline/cannon fodders.

Do you get it?

Someone gave the potion created for the Dragon Emperor to Neel.

'Let me meet that bitch!! I will crush the soul of this person and store it inside the soul torture box until eternity.'

Lucy was still cursing the person who gave the Mythical grade 'The Potion of Determination' to her young master.

Oblivious to the cute robot in a maid costume who was cursing a person to death, Neel was continuing his task back on Earth.
