44. A New Relationship.

"Become my partner afterward."

Ariel answered with sincere eyes.

"For what purpose?"

Neel was doubtful.

"That… I will tell you at the right time."

"Hmm…"

This was a no-brainer.

If what Ariel had told him earlier was true, then simply put, he can't return, the system is not responsive, and his only hope is to depend on the person in front of him.

'I was far too naïve… I should've asked that old man everything and then only accept this. It's getting complicated with every step.'

Neel thought to himself.

He was far too naïve, every person should always get the information about the things they are getting invested in. Half-baked information about a career leads to depression, just like that half-baked knowledge about this body refining has led him here in this situation.

"I have two conditions."

After judging everything he decided.

"What is it?"

"First, you will teach me everything you know, without holding back any information."

"And second, you will help me with everything to return home earlier."

Simple as it may sound the conditions were anything but simple.

Neel was indirectly asking for her complete trust in him and resources for fast progress.

Ariel who understood Neel's intentions pondered for a while.

She was the caretaker of this place, although she has access to all the resources, Neel was still an outsider.

She had to judge this properly, but after all, he can't leave this place so it was an easy deal.

But still, she had to negotiate properly.

"Hmm… I don't have any problem accepting those two conditions of yours… but I also have a condition… and it is simple… you will have to cope with my teaching speed."

The reason for this condition was Neel's earlier enlightenment that Ariel witnessed.

She wanted to test Neel's prowess as she heard him say, he did the first form at 20 times sensitivity which means he just did it in 1 to 2 cycles, which was too good to believe.

Because of this, she wanted to test the waters herself.

"Fine… I will cope with your teaching speed… Just answer my one question."

"Yes?"

"Can I trust you? Ariel?"

Neel asked with eyes filled with doubt. And this time he dropped 'miss'.

He was being reasonable. Since childhood, he had trust issues. If not for Lucy's entry into his life at right time, he would have lived a secluded life.

But since this game arrived, he was watching Lucy and Amanda's behavior change. And his trust issues were once again surfacing.

"Yes, Neel you can trust me."

Ariel's answer had assured him, only a little.

"Fine then, from now, what should I call you? Teacher? Senior sister Ariel?"

"Hmm… call me only Senior."

"Ok then, from now on I will be in your care Senior!"

Neel bowed his head.

For some reason, he knew this was the best thing happening in his life right now.

His mind subconsciously made him bow down.

Ariel's eyes widen because this was the first time someone has given her sincere respect.

A beautiful smile blossomed on her face.

Both Neel and Ariel looked at each other and smiled.

This was the start of a relationship between two similar people.

As for Ariel's past… let the time speak for her.

"His body finally stopped shaking huh?"

Amanda sighed a relief.

"Young master was suffering."

Lucy looked at the bed where Neel's body was shaking violently not so long ago.

"What did mother in law and father in law had planned for him? I am honestly worried."

Amanda said with teary eyes. Neel was her first love and if anything happens to him, she doesn't even know what she will do.

"I never expected to princess cry for anyone."

Lucy said while once again checking Neel's pulses and blood pressure.

"I love him, Lucy. If anything happens to him, I will burn down the world."

Amanda was dead serious when she said that.

And by the world, she didn't mean only planet earth.

The concept of the world was completely different for people who have lived on many planets and in many realms.

Amanda was one of them.

At first, when she was assigned to babysit a boy by her clan, she denied it. But when it was a personal request from Natasha and Aman, there was no chance for her to refuse it.

She was bonded with Neel from childhood, and because of that, they both had a soft corner for each other. But that feeling was just a seedling, if not taken care of or cherished it just disappears.

The reason they both were loving each other, was because they truly developed feelings for each other.

If by any chance it was a one-sided love, then there was no chance for those feelings to grow.

"I trust master and madam's judgment. They should've planned best for the young master."

Snapping Amanda out of her thoughts Lucy continued.

"It's just… it would've been much better to let him know and then make him work…"

"It shows distrust, doesn't it?"

Amanda's question caught Lucy off guard.

She cannot badmouth her madam and master at the same time she can't see her young master suffer.

Everything that comes into Neel's life is a surprise.

He was suddenly moved to his house from the orphanage without any prior notice, he was brought to a place filled with people from a secluded life.

The game, the potion, the task, and now this whatever that was happening.

Everything was a sudden action.

"Haaa… I hope that master and madam are not hated… They are also busy running… haaa…"

Lucy was only able to sigh and do her task of keeping Neel safe. She has not been notified of anything more than what was related to her task.

This was in the calculations of Aman, however, it still hurt Lucy to see her young master.

"How big of a heart will someone need to forgive for so many things, Lucy? Do you think he will trust any of us after we tell him his family conditions?"

Lucy did not answer.

It wasn't like she didn't have an answer.

It was more like she didn't want to answer that.

Neel's reactions were completely dependent on the future, so it was unnecessary to worry now.

"Let's just hope, I guess?"

Amanda finished her conversation with Lucy and silence descended in the room.
