History has it that the Decresh kingdom was at peace and some of their men went to a deep forest for hunting and they came in contact with Neville's men who also went for the same purpose.
Going hunting was compulsory for any man that wanted to join the kingdom's army. They usually go to know how to shoot weapons like spears and arrows. They will be accompanied by some warriors that are good at fighting.
On the hunting track, one of the Neville kingdom men shot one of the Decresh kingdom men from afar. He never knew that it was a human being that was hiding from the leaves.
Decresh men were hiding, waiting for their prey, wild animals, not knowing that Neville men were also coming behind them for their hunting. When one of the Decresh men saw some leaves moving, he thought in his mind that it was an animal, because it's the animals' kingdom and there was no need for him to think twice before shooting.
When the Decresh men saw that one of their men was shot to death, they came out from their hiding places and a fight broke out between them and the Neville kingdom. Neville's men were powerful and skillful warriors but the Decresh kingdom only had a few men who were good at fighting, including prince Gen, who was not with them.
Neville warriors killed all the Decresh warriors except for the one who escaped to report the incident.
Before Decresh men could leave their kingdom for the forest, Neville men had fled back to their kingdom because they knew that they would come for them.
King Wang Lei sent a letter to king Dingbang, telling him that they are coming for war since he sent his men to kill his men.
The messengers successfully delivered the message, but they were attacked by another kingdom men that they came across.
One of the messengers was able to escape. He was hotly chased but they couldn't catch him because the running of his house was like that of a Cheetah.
Not only because his horse can run faster but he was also a brave warrior.
He couldn't withstand the men because they were many.
Three of his colleagues were killed and he only got a narrow escape to get access to his horse.
When the men chased and couldn't catch him, they gave up and went back to where ever they came from.
"Open the gate! Open the gate!" The messenger who escaped from the ambush screamed to the top of his voice.
The way he was running will make One think that he was running a race but he was running to his kingdom to report the incident.
Immediately he entered the gate, the gatekeepers positioned themselves to wait for whosoever was approaching but there was no one after the man. The gates keepers immediately shut the gate.
Commander Bingwen who was having a conversation with prince Gen heard the screaming of the young man. Within seconds, they were already out of prince Gen's room to check what was going on.
The young man stopped his horse as he rushed to prince Gen and quickly bow down.
"I great you, your highness. I'm sorry to say this to you, but I have to say it. We were ambushed on our way back and our men were killed." The young man muttered.
Prince Gen stared at commander Bingwen and stared back at the young man.
"If I may ask, who attacked you?" Prince Gen squad and asked him.
Fear gripped the young man. He was thinking that the prince was going to behead him for coming back alive without sustaining any injury while his colleagues were killed.
"They.. they.." he stammered.
"They what?" Prince Gen yelled at him.
"They are men from the kingdom of Chenzha." He finally answered.
Prince Gen stood up and said to commander Bingwen, "gather your troops and get ready for war."
"As you wish, your highness." Commander Bingwen answered and quickly left.
"And you," prince Gen turned to the young man.
"Go and inform the king right now!"
"As you command, your highness." He fearfully replied and stood up. He rushed to the palace to inform king Wang Lei.
Within minutes the Warriors were gathered, ready to hunt their enemies down.
King Wang Lei wanted to go, but prince Gen told him to save his strength for the Neville kingdom battle, which of course will be tough.
They set out for the battle. Half of Decresh's army were at home, while others went to the battle.
While on their way to Chenzha kingdom, they heard some movements that seems like some people were hiding in the thick forest.
Prince Gen and commander Bingwen were leading at the front.
Commander Bingwen raised his left hand and signal the warriors to stop.
They listen attentively but they didn't hear any movement.
Commander Bingwen signals them to start moving.
Immediately commander Bingwen dropped his hand, and one of his men screamed. Low and behold, he was shot with an arrow.
Everyone brought out his sword. Surprisingly, the people they wanted to go and fight with are already waiting for them in the forest.
Chenzha men were climbing trees like squirrels.
"Attack!" Commander Bingwen ordered.
Within seconds, blood was seen flowing on the ground.
The fight was so great because Chenzha men were fully prepared. Nevertheless, Decresh men were still taking the lead in the battle.
Something was wrong somewhere but no one noticed it. While the battle was still going on, Commander Bingwen noticed something.
The young man that reported the incident was not on the battleground.
Commander Bingwen located prince Gen and asked him if he asked the young man to stay back because he can remember that he asked him to follow them.
Commander Bingwen and prince Gen were probably on their horses.
"Your highness did you…" commander Bingwen hasn't completed yet and he sighted a man hiding behind a tree and he was covered with leaves.
"No!" Commander Bingwen screamed as he jumped and pushed prince Gen to the ground.
The man commander Bingwen saw hiding just shoot an arrow at prince Gen.
Immediately he knew that he missed it, he came out of his hideout as he tried to escape.
Prince Gen immediately sighted the man and he quickly stood up and picked one of the enemy spears on the ground and threw it at the man.
The spear pierced his spinal cord to his stomach, which made him fall flat on the ground. And the edge of the sword also pierced the ground which made him hang on the spear like a leaf.
Prince Gen immediately took his sword and rushed to the man.
He wanted to cut the man's head off but he decided to take a good look at the man's face.
Prince Gen was stunned by what he saw.
It was their warrior. The young man that just reported the attack a few hours ago.
There was no way to ask him why he betrayed his kingdom because he was already lifeless.
Commander Bingwen came and stood close to prince Gen and he was also shocked to see that he was one of them.
Prince Gen turned around and saw that only one of their enemies was still alive, and he was about to be slaughtered by one of his men.
"Stop!" Prince Gen said sharply to one of his men that had already raised his sword to the sky to strike his opponent.
Prince Gen walked up to the man, and fear gripped him. He threw his sword away and surrender.
"Who sent you?" Prince Gen asked the young man that was kneeling on the floor.
"Please don't kill me, your highness. It was one of your men that led us to attack you. He killed his colleagues when they refused to be part of the plan after they delivered the message to Neville's kingdom." The young man explained as he shiver.
"And what were his reasons for that?" Prince Gen asked.
"He said he wanted to kill you specifically and there was no other way to do that until he joined hands with us for him to stay out of trouble." The man explained.
"You haven't answered my question yet. I said what were his reasons?" Prince Gen yelled at him.
"A mistress. He said he was having feelings for the called your mistress and the day he wanted to propose to her was the day he found out that she was your mistress. He wasn't ready to give up on her, so he wanted to take your life and make her his wife. That was his reason." The man explained.
"Now I know why he always stays close to her room as her guard." Commander Bingwen mumbled.
"What, and you never told me about it?" Prince Gen angrily asked.
"Pardon me, your highness, I never knew that he heard something like that in mind." Commander Bingwen apologized.
Prince Gen glared at commander Bingwen and angrily turned and cut off the head of the young man kneeling on the ground.
His head bounced on the floor like a soccer ball that is designed with eyes and mouth.
