Chapter 22

Being summoned by the mistress, Jack quickly rushed into the carriage only for him to see Jason standing there with a serious look on his face.

"You!!! I thought that you were dead" Jack asked with a surprised look on his face as he pointed his finger at Jason.

"I guess it's a miracle for me to be standing here then since you think your mistress silly potion would be able to send me on my way" reply Jason with a smile on his face. 

"What are you standing there talking to him about, get him. I want to see him beg for mercy" said the mistress as she ordered Jack to attack Jason.

"I'm sorry to disappoint you but there is no need for me to play with you since I have already gotten what I want so let's call it a day" reply Jason as he jumps to the side while creating a big hole on the carriage which he used to escape.

Seeing that he is trying to get away, the mistress let out an angry scream.

"What are you standing there for, go do what I paid you for" she said to Jack who quickly left the carriage as he began to give chase over Jason who seemed to have gotten far from the carriage.

When the slaves heard the commotion going on inside the carriage, they couldn't help but turn their attention there only for them to see the kid they all thought was dead jumping out of the carriage as he begin to run and the next minute, Jack went through the same hole which the kid came from before giving chase and as for the mistress, she majestically came out of the carriage with her whip in hand as she gave the slaves a frightened look.

"What are you all looking at" she yelled at the slaves the moment that they made eye contact and they quickly looked away to avoid getting into trouble with her.

Meanwhile, Jason who was been chased by Jack had been finding it quite difficult to shake him off as he continues to close the distance between them.

"Pray that I don't catch up to you because if I do, I'm going to make you regret ever coming back" Jack said as he continue to give chase.

"In your dreams old man" reply Jason as he continues to run for his life.

Just when he thought that the potion he took isn't showing effect yet, he decides to push his body to the limit as he begins to run faster but just then, he suddenly felt a strong pain in his stomach and he has to clench his stomach with his hand while still running as he tries to endure the pain but it was just quite unfortunate that he couldn't run at his top speed and before long, Jack has already caught up to him as he swipes his legs in a scissors way to get Jason down.

"Looks like it is time for you to face your punishment boy" Jack said as he let out a deep breath while Jason continues to roll on the ground with his hand holding on to his stomach tightly. 

"Why is the pain becoming more stronger compared to before, could it be that I took the wrong potion? But that is impossible, I remember the smell so well unless it could be that I took too much of it which is why the pain is becoming unbearable for me" just thought to himself as he let out a loud scream which scares Jack who had a wide smile on his face earlier.

"You must be joking if you think that I'm going to let you go just because of your scream" jack grinned evilly as he gave him a hard kick on the stomach as he making things worse for Jason who is finding the pain hard to endure a moment ago as he let out another agonized scream.

"That's it boy, let me hear you scream in pain" said jack as he continues to kick him on the stomach with more force applied to the kick.

The torment continues for a long time with jack letting out a loud laugh to compliment Jason's scream until it gets to the time that Jason couldn't scream anymore as he just lay there on the ground with his eyes close.

"You are not going to fool me with the same trick twice boy" jack said as he kick at the stomach once more.

Just when the leg was about to get to hit him on the stomach, a hand just move swiftly as he held the leg in place.

"That's enough kicking for the day old man" Jason suddenly spoke up in a cold voice with his head still lower to the ground making it difficult for jack to see his face.

Seeing that his legs have been held in place, Jack quickly tried to free the leg but found out that no matter how hard he try, he just couldn't free his leg and the strength that is contained in the hold was too strong for him but he still refuses to give as he begins to punch at Jason in hope of influencing pain on him but all his effort were put to waste as the grip on the hold.

"Haaaaaaa" jack let out a loud scream before falling to the ground in pain. 

"You were having fun not quite long, now is my turn old man, I hope you are ready for extreme pain"? Asked Jason as he finally stood up with a cold look on his face as he twist the leg to the side while breaking the leg in the process.

Jack let out another painful scream as Jason continue to twist the damaged leg before moving to the other leg as he also breaks the leg before letting it go with a satisfying look on his face.

"How do you like being treated like an animal old man"
