Episode 13 - Crazy for You

It was late at night in Central City, sirens could be heard as a couple were trapped in their car, which had been flipped over. "Honey... Honey…" The woman gasped, trying to get her lover's attention.

"Dana." The man groaned, only realising just now what situation they were in. "Oh, God. Someone!"

"Help!" Dana yelled.

"Somebody help us." The man screamed when suddenly sparks from a broken street lamp started to hit the car as Barry and Macanese were racing around the city, heading towards the wreckage. The firefighters that were already there were trying to figure out how to get them out of the car without making things worse.

"See if you can get the power of that line shut down. You guys lay down the hose line." One of them ordered.

"Please help! Help us! Help us!" The couple continued to yell as Barry and Macanese arrived by the car. They both tried to open the door but it was stuck.

"Hold on!" Barry told them as he and Macanese placed their hands on the door. They both started to vibrate their hands on the door, which finally caused it to open. And then they helped get the guy in the passenger seat out first.

"Stay here, all right?" Macanese told them as she zoomed back to the car to get the woman out. "I gotcha." Macanese said as she reached out for the woman when one of the wires fell onto the puddle of fuel that was on the ground near the car. The fire comes rushing towards them. The woman gasps as Macanese hurries to get her out. The BOOM. The car explodes, but they couldn't tell if Macanese or Dana managed to get out on time.

"Dana!" The man yelled. The man was about to break down, and so was Barry, not that he was going to admit it. They both turn around to see that Macanese and Dana were perfectly fine.

"How did…" The man mumbles as Dana runs into his arms. "I love you." He turns to look at Barry and Macanese. "Thank you, Thunder, Flash." The couple then hug each other as Barry and Macanese zoom away with a smile on their faces.

Later, Cisco was cleaning Barry's suit as Macanese cleaned off her cybernetic overlay armour at STAR Labs. "Dude. That was insane. I mean, even I'm having a hard time getting mad at you for dirtying up my suit." Cisco smiles.

"Okay, when are we going to start considering it my suit?" Barry questioned.

"I'd be comfortable calling it our suit." Cisco admits.

"Okay, 'Our suit.'" Barry sighs.

"Tonight was the fastest you've both ever ran." Caitlin tells them as she walks in.

"Yes, your training is paying off." Wells agrees. "That couple is alive tonight because of you."

"We can still get faster. We know we can." Macanese told them.

"And you will one day, I'm sure. But for today, I'd say you've fulfilled your save quota. Proper rest is what you need, as do we all." Wells said.

"Better yet, what we all need is a proper drink. Who's up for a round?" Cisco asks.

"Oh, dude, it's... It's movie night with Joe. we can't. But we'll see you guys tomorrow, all right?" Barry answers.

"Bye." Caitlin calls.

"Night." Macanese said as she finished off cleaning her armour. Then Barry and Macanese, now in civilian form, walked out of the lab together as Barry's arm creeped around Atchaco's waist.

"What about you? Drinks on me?" Cisco questions as he turns to Caitlin.

"I think I'll pass." Caitlin replies.

"You okay?" Cisco wonders.

"I was looking for my tablet at your workstation, and I found this." Caitlin said, holding up the tablet to show that a firestorm file was being looked at on the device.

"I can explain." Cisco told her. "I know you said we should stop looking for Ronnie, so I... didn't stop looking for Ronnie."

"Why?" Caitlin asks.

"Hartley." Cisco answers. "He said he knew what happened to Ronnie."

"Oh, Hartley Rathaway, who is currently locked up in our super-villain basement jail for going psycho with sound waves?" Caitlin questioned.

"Yeah." Cisco agreed. "He's made some poor choices. There's no argument there. But I looked into what he was saying and…"

"Cisco." Caitlin butted in. "Ronnie's gone, and it's time for me to move on with my life."

"Doesn't seem like it." Cisco replied.

"What's that supposed to mean?" Caitlin questioned.

"Look, I'm not an expert on love, but I think in order to move on from Ronnie, you actually have to move on." Cisco tells her.

At Iron Heights, a woman pulls in a car a few feet away from the prison and she turns on her stereo and Lykke Li's song; Get Some starts playing. She takes out a telescope, looks through the lens and then suddenly disappears and reappears inside of the prison. She walks over to a camera and breaks it and does her disappearing act multiple times until all the cameras are broken. The security guards took notice of this and chased her around, but she had a map and her unusual power. Then she ran towards a cell where a man was sitting down on the bed. "Shawna?" He wondered as he stood up to see the woman, Shawna, outside of his cell. Shawna smiles as the guard sees her and she appears in his cell within seconds.

"Crazy cool, right?" Shawna asks the man.

"How did you do that?" He replies.

"Grab my hand." She orders as she holds one hand out to him and uses the other to look through a microscope. He quickly takes her hand and then Shawna looks out the window with the telescope and they both disappear and then reappear inside of the car.

"How the hell, Shawna?" He questions.

"So, you like?" Shawna wonders.

"Oh, I love." He replies as they both quickly kiss each other and drive off before they got caught.

Late in the morning, the police were all at Iron Heights as Barry and CyAmze were checking out the cell when Joe walked in. "Hey." Joe greets them. "The security cameras in half the prison are shut down. Then Clay Parker, according to this data log, who was still locked in his cell, somehow vanishes."

"Not completely." Barry said as Macanese held up a vial with black spots inside.

"What's that?" Joe asked.

"It's some kind of organic particulate residual. I found it on the floor in here, just outside the cell, out in the hallway. Trail led me all the way outside." CyAmze told him as Henry Allen appeared outside of the cell.

"Dad." Barry calls as he walks over to him and grabs his hands and Henry chuckles as Barry laughs a little.

Henry looks up and sees CyAmze. "Pleased to make your aquanice, Lady CyAmze Macanese." He tells her.

"Same to you, Doctor Allen." CyAmze replies. "Also, just CyAmze." Henry nods and turns to Joe.

"So... Word around here is, Parker pulled a Shawshank?" Henry questioned.

"Yep, and none of the other prisoners heard or saw anything." Joe answered.

"Well, they wouldn't talk to you about it." Henry tells him.

"Leaves us with not a lot to go on." Barry sighed.

"Well, if there's anyone who can figure out how Parker got out of here, it's you, Son." Henry smiles.

"Come on, Allen, let's go." The guard tells him.

"Duty calls." Henry said as he smiled and walked away with the guard.

"So, my dad just happened to come by?" Barry wondered.

"The guard owed me a favour." Joe answered.

"Thank you." Barry smiled.

In another part of the city, Clay and Shawna were hanging out in Shawna's apartment. "Thanks for... getting me out of that hellhole." Clay told her.

"You'd have done the same for me, right?" Shawna questioned.

"So... How the hell did this happen to you?"Clay asked.

"Don't know." Shawna replies. "After you got locked up, I started not feeling right. I was passing out for no reason, waking up in odd places. It took me a while before I could control it. As soon as I could…" She suddenly appears next to him. "I came for you."

"What, so you can just jump wherever you want?" Clay wonders.

"If I can see where I'm going." Shawna answers. "We got a second chance, Clay. We can leave Central City. Do... Do all the things we talked about."

"I can't leave yet, baby." Clay complained. "I owe Marcus a lot of money. If I skipped town before paying him back. He'll find us. Hey, but with what you can do, we can pay off that debt. Then we'll be free, and we can go anywhere in the world. Together." Then they both kiss each other.

Later at STAR Labs, they are all looking at the samples that Barry and Atchaco had found in Clay's cell. "Not even Barry's cells move this fast." Caitlin told them. "I've never seen anything like it, not even in Atchaco's alien cellular structure."

"So Clay Parker is a meta-human?" Joe asked.

"Not so fast." Wells answered. "The particulate residue Atchaco gathered at Iron Heights does contain Clay Parker's DNA, but also DNA of a woman."

"Run her DNA against the CCPD criminal database. See if you get a match." Atchaco ordered.

"Yahtzee." Cisco cheered as he looked at the results. "Her name's Shawna Baez. Mostly petty crimes, and this girl likes to party, apparently. Long list of disorderly conducts at local bars."

"So I'm guessing we find her, we find Clay Parker. Barry? Atchaco?" Joe replied.

"Yeah." Barry and Atchaco say in sync and they both walk out of the lab.

"In the meantime, let's track these particulates and see how they work." Wells told the others.

"I'll be right with you guys." Cisco said, standing up and walking out of the lab. He heads down to the pipeline to see Hartley.

"I've had the biggest craving for Thai food." Hartley admits.

"You said you knew what happened to Ronnie and how he was still alive." Cisco reminded him. "And you said Professor Stein was at S.T.A.R. Labs the night of the explosion."

"Yes. He was." Hartley agrees.

"Why?" Cisco questions.

"The mystery isn't why Stein went to S.T.A.R. Labs that night. It's why he didn't leave." Hartley smiles.

"Tell me." Cisco ordered.

"Can't. I have to show you." Hartley informs him.

"You are not getting out of this cell." Cisco scoffs.

"Fair enough, but I know you, Cisco." Hartley laughs. |I know how much you looked up to Ronnie. He was like family. A family you built for yourself here. I know how much you want to see that family healed. Let me help you."

"I don't believe you." Cisco told him.

"Well, I'm telling you the truth, Cisco." Hartley chuckles. "When you are ready, you know where to find me." Cisco walks over to the control panels and shuts the door to the pipeline.

Later at Jitters, Barry and Atchaco were having coffee with Iris and Barry had a huge smile on his face. "What's that smile about?" Iris wondered.

"He saw his dad today." Atchaco informed her.

"Yeah. No glass, no phones. Just me and him, face-to-face. Joe arranged it." Barry smiled.

"That must have been amazing, Barry." Iris told him.

"Yeah. I really needed it." Barry admitted.

"I'm sure he needed it, too." Atchaco said.

"Were you there investigating the breakout?" Iris asked.

"Mm-hmm." Barry hummed.

"That is a big story." Iris told them. "Which I am not a part of. My editor wants me to write about The Flash and Thunder, and only The Flash and Thunder."

"Is that a bad thing?" Atchaco questioned.

"I don't know." Iris answered. "I would just like to be thought of as more than The Flash and Thunder PR flack. I mean, if I don't write something soon, I think I might lose my job."

"Hey, no." Barry replied. "We will find you a great story to write about. Together. Okay?"

"Yeah, we will. And you know we are always here for you." Atchaco continued.

"I know." Iris replied.

Back at the pipeline, Hartley was putting on a set of handcuffs. "Didn't know you enjoyed yourself a little rough trade." Hartley jokes.

"If I'm gonna let you out, I'm not taking any chances." Cisco reminds him.

"Curiosity's a maddening thing, is it not?" Hartley questions as he finishes putting on the handcuffs.

Later, Barry and Joe are talking with Henry at Iron Heights. "What do you mean you've been asking around?" Barry asks him.

"Do you know Marcus Stockheimer?" Henry questions and Barry moves the phone over to Joe.

"Sure, he's some mid-level gangster. He works mainly on the south side." Joe answers.

"Word is, Clay Parker was a runner for Marcus." Henry informed them. "When Clay got pinched, Marcus lost a lot of money. Apparently Marcus doesn't like losing money."

"So, what?" Barry wondered. "So Parker can't leave Central City until he's paid off his debt?"

"From what I'm told, if you're a member of the Stockheimer crew, you get out, first thing you do is pay him a visit or suffer the consequences." Henry replied.

"All right. No more playing cop. Promise me." Barry orders.

"I hear you." Henry replied.

"All right." Barry smiled.

Back at STAR Labs, Cisco and Hartley were standing by the side of the building near a set of stairs. "You said you were gonna show me what happened to Ronnie. Ronnie died inside the building." Cisco reminded Hartley. "What are we doing out here?"

"What do you see?" Hartley questioned.

"I don't know. Buildings, walls, dirt." Cisco answered.

"Wells would be so disappointed in your observational skills. Look again." Hartley ordered. Cisco walks over to the wall and he touches it, awkwardly it looks like the shadow of a person. Then Hartley speaks a foreigh language. "It's Japanese."

"How can you speak six languages and sound like a dick in every one of them?" Cisco wondered.

"It means 'bomb shadow'." Hartley informed him. "They found these all over Hiroshima after the first atomic bomb was dropped. This shadow belonged to Martin Stein."

"The accelerator explosion did this to him?" Cisco asked.

"You really don't see it, do you?" Hartley laughed. "You're gonna kick yourself when you figure it out."

"Oh, man." Cisco scoffs. "You were full of it then, and you're full of it now. This is just another one of your lame-ass tricks. Come on. We're going back into the Pipeline." Hartley then elbows Cisco in the face and a fight breaks out between them. Hartley then trips Cisco and tries to make a run for it, but Cisco takes a device out of his pocket and pushes a button on it, causing a high-pitched screeching sound to come out of it and Hartley drops to his knees. "You're not the only one who understands vibrations, Hartley. Those cochlear devises you're wearing? I made a few adjustments."

"No, please don't! Aah." Hartley begged.

"If you know how to find Ronnie, then you better tell me. Right now." Cisco ordered.

"Please, make it stop. Please. I'll show you. I'll show... Ah... Aah!" Hartley pleads.

Cisco turns off the device and looks at him. "Try that again, and I won't make it stop. Ever." Cisco tells him.

"I'm impressed." Hartley admits. "Didn't think you had that in you. But you have to take these off me if you want to find out the truth." Hartley holds up his cuffed hands.

"And why's that?" Cisco asks him.

"It'll look a little conspicuous where we're going next." Hartley answers.

Inside the building, Barry and Atchaco walked into the Cortex at the same time and found that Caitlin was also there. "Mm." Caitlin humms. "I was analysing the particulates that Clay Parker and Shawna Baez left behind, and I found something very interesting. When Clay's cells come into contact with Shawna's, they adopt her properties."

Atchaco notices Caitlin biting her lip. "Something bothering you?" Atchaco questions.

"Why would you ask that?" Caitlin wonders.

"You're doing that biting your lower lip thing that you do when something's bothering you." Atchaco answers.

"She's right, you know, you are." Barry agreed.

"I'm fine." Caitlin told them as he clears her throat.

"Okay." Atchaco smiles.

"Cisco says I don't have a life." Caitlin admits.

"You don't, do you?" Barry asks.

"I do!" Caitlin replied. "I cook and I eat and I read and I help you."

So, what you're saying is, you do everything that has nothing to do with having a life." Atchaco tells her.

"You don't have to be rude about it." Caitlin said.

"Hey, I'm not doing any better than you." Atchaco confessed. "My social life consists of running at superhuman speed, talking to Triton and Netflix."

"I'm the same as Atchaco, just minus the 'talking to Triton' part." Barry said. "We haven't even gone out together, alone."

We are quite the thressome." Caitlin laughed.

"Yes we are, Dr. Snow." Atchaco smiled as the computer in front of Caitlin chimes.

"There's an armed robbery in progress." Caitlin informs them. "Two suspects, male and female in their 20s. Sounds like our meta-human Bonnie and Clyde are at it again."

"Time to ruin their social life." Barry chuckles.

Minutes later, Barry and Macanese were racing through the city, heading towards the robbery. Clay and Shawna had the security guards on their knees as Shawna grabbed money from the truck. "Just a few bags, baby, is enough to pay back Marcus." Clay said.

"These things are heavier than they look." Shawna complains as she walks over with two bags of money, she then disappears then reappears behind their car and puts the money in the trunk, seconds later Barry and Macanese show up in front of her. "Oh, I've read about you. You're The Flash and Thunder. I've heard you are both real fast. Let's see if it's true." She then disappears and reappears a few feet behind them. "Catch me if you can." She laughs as she disappears again.

When she reappears, Barry catches up and grabs her. "I can." Barry smiles. But then Shawna elbows Barry in the face and disappears, before reappearing on top of the steps of a construction building.

"Oh, you gotta be kidding me." Macanese sighs before zooming up to grab Shawna, but Shawna grabs her tightly and disappears, taking Macanese with her. When she reappears, Shawna has Macanese dangling over a railing.

"Not too many people can keep up with me." She then reappears back at her car and Barry is right behind her. All of a sudden a gunshot goes off behind Barry, Clay had just taken a shot at him. Barry grabs the bullet as it reaches his neck and he falls to the ground. Seconds later, Macanese zooms towards Barry, but by this time, Shawna had already disappeared with the money and Clay.

Back at STAR Labs, Caitlin is tending to Barry's bruise on the back of his neck. "This is a bullet wound. You're lucky it just barely broke the skin." Caitlin reminds him.

"Guess I'm a lot faster than a speeding bullet." Barry laughs.

"That's not funny." Atchaco replies. "Unlike me, your neck is not made of metal."

"Sorry." Barry apologises as Wells wheels into the room.

"Shawna Baez. She can teleport." Atchaco told him.

"As in, 'Beam me up, Shawna?'" Caitlin asks.

"Yes, of course." Wells answers. "Quantum entanglement. The ability to manipulate interconnected particles over an infinite distance. Or, as Einstein put it, 'spooky action at a distance.'"

"Every time we got close, she disappeared. It was like we were playing a game of…" Barry starts to say.

"Peek-a-boo." Caitlin suggested. "Come on. Can't I name one?"

"How are we supposed to catch her if we don't know where she's gonna be?" Barry asked.

"Everybody has limits, Mr. Allen." Wells reminds him. "Now that we know Shawna's powers, we'll focus on those limits."

"All right." Barry replied.

"Let us know. We're gonna change." Atchaco told them.

"We gotta go help Iris." Barry said.

Late at night, in the parking lot at the precinct, Eddie and Iris were walking together when they ran into Barry and Atchaco. "Hey, Barry. Hey Atchaco." Eddie greets them.

"Hey, Eddie." They reply.

"Hey, what are you two doing here?" Iris wondered.

"We thought we'd see if you wanted help writing your story for the paper." Atchaco answered.

"Oh, that is so nice of you guys." Iris said. "I would love to, but we were about to have dinner with Eddie's mom tonight."

"And we're late." Eddie told them.

"Can we do it another time?" Iris asked.

"Yeah, of course." Barry said.

"Okay." Iris replied.

"All right." Eddie said.

"Bye." Barry said.

"See ya." Atchaco smiled and Eddie and Iris walked away. "Well, it looks like we have some free time after all.

"Yeah, I guess we do." Barry grinned. He takes out his phone and calls Caitlin.

"Hey." Caitlin says as she answers the phone.

"What bars did Shawna and Clay frequent?" Barry asked her.

"Uh, mostly south side dive bars. Why?" She questioned.

"Atchaco and I were just gonna check 'em out. See if they fall into any old habits." Barry answered.

"That's a good idea. I'll join you." Caitlin tells them.

Later, Atchaco and Barry were sitting at a table watching a guy sing Loverboy's Working for the Weekend on stage for karaoke night. Seconds later, Caitlin walks in and she is dressed… differently than normal. "Hey." Atchaco greeted her as she and Barry stared at the dress she was wearing.

"What?" Caitlin asked.

"What? Nothing." Barry mumbles.

"Uh, well, you look... really nice." Atchaco told her.

"I don't always dress like a high school principal." Caitlin admitted as she took a seat across from them.

"So, this is where Shawna Baez and Clay Parker used to hang out?" Barry asked.

"It is, according to the files." Caitlin answers. "I thought we could kill two birds with one stone. Look for them and get ourselves back out there."

"Of course." Atchaco agreed. "If I wasn't here with you guys, I would probably be sitting on my couch watching Netflix."

"And I would probably be at home trying to gain courage so I can ask you on a date." Barry confused to Atchaco.

"Really." Atchaco wonders and Barry nods. "Because I would say yes if you did."

"That is a good thing to know." Barry smiles.

"You guys are so cute together." Caitlin admits. "You two are lucky to have each other. You're lucky you're not pining for someone who bursts into flames and wants nothing to do with you."

"What is wrong with us?" Atchaco asks. "I mean, we're in our 20s. We should be having fun. We should meet people, go on lots of dates."

"Well, here's to liquid courage." Caitlin said as she grabbed Atchaco's drink. She not only drinks a bit of it, she chugs the whole thing.

"Uh... That is... Very fast. And you drank all of it." Barry notices.

Caitlin turns towards the waitress with a smile. "Excuse me? I would like to start a tab." She tells her.

"Okay." Atchaco sighs, now knowing that this was going to be a long night.

At the precinct, Cisco and Hartley were on Barry's computer at CyAmze and Barry's lab. "CCPD confiscated everything from S.T.A.R. Labs after the explosion. Video, audio, traffic cam footage." Hartley told him.

"Okay, so?" Cisco questioned as he was typing on the computer.

"I saw Martin Stein the night S.T.A.R. Labs went boom." Hartley admits. "He walked right past me. You see, Stein specialized in transmutation. Molecular transmography. Quantum splicing. Taking two things and making them one. Let's go to the videotape, shall we?" Cisco puts on the video of Stein near STAR Labs. "Okay, stop." Hartley ordered. "Now zoom in a few clicks. Now advance it, frame by frame." Cisco does exactly what he is told and they see a bright light pass Stein and his eyes are glowing.

"His eyes." Cisco noticed. "They turned white, just like Ronnie's." Cisco continues to click on the screen.

"Now, stop there. In the mass of energy." Hartley points out. They both look and see what looks like to be a face inside of it. "Looks like…"

"Ronnie." Cisco realised.

"And Professor Stein." Hartley tells him. Cisco puts the video back to normal speed and they see Ronnie connect with Stein with the mass of energy, and then disappear.

"The dark matter merged them together." Cisco noticed.

"Explains why Ronnie hasn't seemed quite himself lately." Hartley replied as he took out a device from his ear. "It's because he's not. He's Martin Stein." Hartley clicks on the device and a high-pitched screeching comes out of it, making Cisco drop to the floor. Hartley grabbed the device that Cisco used on him and placed it on the floor and smashed it. "You can't say I didn't keep up my end of the bargain." Cisco groans as he tries to reach for the device, but Hartley kicks him in the stomach. "I figure that makes us even Stephen. Adios." Hartley said as he walked out of the room.

Back at the bar, Atchaco and Barry walked up to the bartender. "Excuse me, could we get some water?" Atchaco asks and the bartender hands them both a glass of water.

"Thanks." Barry said as they turned around to see Caitlin, standing on the karaoke stage, drunk, which was something that didn't mick well.

"Mr. Barry Allen!" She calls. "Come on down! Or up."

"I'm not doing it." He tells her.

"Come up here with me. Oh, come show 'em what you got. Come on. Barry! Barry!" She chants and then everyone at the bar, including Atchaco, who now has a huge smile on her face, starts to chant.

Atchaco pushes Barry towards the stage and he quickly walks up to the stage with Caitlin. "Ooh, look at him go. He's so fast! Ooh, shh!" Caitlin laughs.

"You know I'm not much of a singer." Barry complains.

"And you're not much of a drinker." Caitlin tells him with a smile on her face. "We are gonna bring this place down."

"Okay, just... Good girl." Barry said as he pats Caitlin on the head as the music from 'Summer Nights' from Grease starts to play.

"Hey, Triton." Atchaco asks her AI. "You better record this." Atchaco's eyes then darken a little as Triton records what she is seeing and hearing.

"Get ready." Caitlin tells Barry as they stand on the stage.

Minutes later, after Barry and Caitlin had finished singing, they walked over to the bar where Atchaco was waiting for them. "You're fast and you can sing?" Caitlin smiled.

"He's a man of many talents.

"What can't you do?" Caitlin wondered as she grabbed a drink from the counter.

"Stop you from drinking, apparently." Barry answered as Caitlin put the drink down on the counter.

"I'm not even sure that was mine." Caitlin admits. "I have to go to the bathroom."

"Okay." Barry replied as Caitlin walked away towards the bathroom.

"I think I should go with her." Atchaco said. "Make sure she doesn't get into any trouble, and you should cancel the tab for us."

"Of course." Barry tells her.

"Good." Atchaco smiles. "I will be right back." Atchaco then walks away as well.

Barry turns towards the bartender. "Can I close out my tab, please?" Barry asks.

"Hey, Stevie. Can my friend here tap out?" The woman calls another bartender.

"Sure thing, Linda." Stevie answered as he turned and walked away.

"Uh, thank you, Linda." Barry said.

"You're welcome, Barry." Linda replied.

"How do you know my name?" Barry questioned.

"Barry. Barry. Barry." Linda answered as she copied what the crowd was doing.

"Yeah... Sorry about us up there. That's…" Barry apologised.

"Are you kidding?" Linda laughs. "No, that was some of the best singing that I've heard come from that stage. You definitely made my ears happy. Don't worry."

"Thanks." Barry said as he paid the lab.

"So… Was that your girlfriend up there?" Lina asked.

"Oh... No, no." Barry answered. "She's a friend. The other girl I came with, who thought I didn't know she was recording me singing, she is."

"Okay, well, tell your girlfriend that she is lucky to have a great guy like you." Linda sighed as she walked away.

"Okay." Barry replied as Barry and Atchaco walked back over to him.

"Ah, Barry." Atchaco called. "We need to go now."

"I don't feel good." Caitlin moaned.

"Okay. Come on." Barry said. Seconds later, they took Caitlin to the parking lot and Atchaco held her hair as Caitlin pucked into a trash can..

"Okay?" Atchaco asks as she rubs her back.

Somewhere else, Clay and Shawna went to go and give the money they stole to Marcus. "80 grand. What I owe. So we square now?" Clay questioned.

"Almost." Marcus answers, pointing his gun at Shawna. She gasps and teleports a few feet behind Marcus. "Ohh. Holy crap."

"I'm glad you're impressed." Shawna told him. "So we're cool now?"

"Absolutely." Marcus agreed. "Couldn't be cooler. Which is why I think we need to keep working together. With what I know, and what you can do, oh, we can be looking at a very lucrative future." Suddenly there was a loud thud as the police busted through the door.

"Police! Everybody down!" Joe yelled.

Marcus and his men as well as Clay started shooting at the cops, but sadly for them they were outnumbered. Clay gets shot in the shoulder and falls to the ground and Shawna runs over to him. "Aah! Oh, baby!" She looks at him with soft eyes.

"Hold it right there." An officer ordered Marcus. Joe had walked over to Shawna and Clay, she looked up at him and then disappeared and took Clay with her.

"Damn." Joe groaned.

Atchaco and Barry had finished zooming over to Caitlin's apartment with Caitlin. "Are we still running?" Caitlin asked.

"No, we are here." Barry answered.

"Vodka and super-speed…" Caitlin groans. "Not a good combination."

"Come on." Atchaco laughs and they walked into Caitlin's bedroom.

"So…" Caitlin mumbled. "Are you two going to go on an actual date sometime soon?"

"Yeah." Barry told her.

"When?" Caitlin wonders as she takes her shoes.

"When we finally have time because we don't right now." Atchaco reminded her.

"You know there's never going to be a time." Caitlin admitted. "You two will always be busy, no matter what." She then starts taking her dress off and Atchaco turns Barry around quickly. "You two deserve to be happy, you always will. Don't let happiness slip through your fingers because what you don't realise is, you both need a little saving, too." She then couldn't get her dress off. "Little help, please."

"I got you, don't worry." Atchaco said as she zoomed around Caitlin and helped her out of her dress and into her pyjamas. "You can turn around now." Barry sighs and turns around to face them.

"There you go again. Saving me from that evil dress." Cailtin jokes.

"Get in bed." Barry told her.

"Did he sneak a peek?" Caitlin asked, turning to Atchaco. "At my goods?"

"I wouldn't be much of a hero if I did." Barry reminds her.

"Yeah, but it's okay if you peeked a little. You deserve a peek for all the good stuff you do." Caitlin smiles.

"No more alcohol for you. Drink lots of water." Atchaco ordered.

"Thank you both for tonight." She whispers. "I sang." Atchaco chuckles slightly.

"Any time." Barry tells her.

"Hey, Atchaco? Will you stay with me until I fall asleep?" Caitlin mumbled.

"Sure, yeah." Atchaco replied. She then turns to Barry. "I will see you tomorrow."

"Yeah, bye Caitlin." Barry tells her.

"Bye Barry." Caitlin grumbles. Then Barry leaves and Atchaco sits next to Caitlin, rubbing her back until she falls asleep.

The next morning, Caitlin walks into STAR Labs with a scarf and sunglasses on. "Hi." Barry greets her.

"So loud." She complains.

"Oh, ho-ho. We just wanted to make sure you're okay." Atchaco tells her.

"Let's just say I envy both of your inability to get drunk." Caitlin replied. "I don't remember much from last night."

"Yeah, that's probably for the best." Barry tells her. "Summer lovin'."

"Oh, God. That I do remember." She groans and Barry and Atchaco laugh. They walk into the Cortex and see Wells sitting there with a disappointed look on his face.

"What's wrong?" Atchaco asked.

"Cisco... Has something he needs to tell you." Wells answered.

"Hartley's gone." Cisco informs them.

"He escaped from the Pipeline? How is that even possible?" Barry questioned.

"I let him out." Cisco confessed. "Are you mad? I can't tell with those glasses on."

"I'd like to yell and wave my arms, but I'm afraid I'd throw up." Caitlin admits.

"Why? What were you thinking? You know how dangerous he is." Atchaco growls.

"Hartley said he knew what happened to Ronnie." Cisco told them.

"I told you to let it go." Caitlin reminded him. "I didn't want you looking into that for me."

"I wasn't doing it for you. I…" Cisco sighs. "I sealed Ronnie into the accelerator before it blew. He told me to wait two minutes, and I waited, but he didn't come back. And I can't stop thinking, 10, 20 seconds and... Ronnie wouldn't be like he is right now. I've wanted to tell you so many times. I'm so sorry."

"So you carried that around this whole time?" Caitlin questioned, walking over to Cisco. "Do you know what Ronnie would say if he was here? He would say that you did the right thing. It wasn't your fault. What happened that night wasn't anybody's fault. Come on. Don't we have a teleporter to catch?"

"We do have a teleporter to catch." Wells said. "And fortunately, we do have a promising theory. Take a look at this." He shows the sample of the particles that Shawna had left on the computer screen. "Now, this is the normal behaviour of the particulate that Shawna left behind. Watch what happens when we remove light." He turns off the light in the sample and the particles stop moving. "Shawna can only become entangled with something she can see. Take away her ability to do that…"

"She can't teleport." Cisco smiled.

"Exactly." Wells agreed.

"So, we just need to get her into a dark space." Caitlin told them as Barry's phone started to ring. "How do we do that?"

"It's a valid question." Wells answered.

"Hello?" Barry said to the person on his phone. "What? Yeah, I'll be right there. All right." He then hangs up his phone.

"What's wrong?" Atchaco asks.

"M... My dad." Barry mumbles. "He's been stabbed."

Later at nighttime in the Iron Heights Infirmary, Barry was standing there with Joe and Atchaco. "Dad... What happened?" Barry asked him.

"A rather stern reminder." Henry answered. "I'd say, not to poke around Marcus Stockheimer's business."

"Dad, I told you to stop." Barry reminded him.

"Your dad called me with more intel." Joe admitted. "It helped us track down Clay and Shawna and arrest Stockheimer."

"I managed to screw up Marcus's big heist, too, so…" Henry laughs.

"You two kept working together, and you didn't tell me?" Barry questioned.

"It isn't his fault. I did it to help you." Henry confessed.

"You getting stabbed and beaten is not helping me." Barry told him.

"Look, I... I... I don't get to feel useful very much here." Henry said as his eyes started to water. "So if I can help you for a change, I'm gonna want to be there for you. Just like you've been there for me all these years."

"Yep." Barry said as his eyes watered and he grabbed his dad's hand.

"You said Marcus had a big heist coming up?" Joe asked.

"Mm." Henry hums.

"Do you know anything else about it?" Joe wondered.

"Dad, tell me who did this to you." Barry pleaded.

"No, it doesn't matter, slugger." Henry replied.

"But you said you want to help me." Barry reminded him. "So help me."

"One of Marcus's boys. Julius." Henry said.

Atchaco looks at Barry and he looks back at her, they already know what they need to do. Minutes Later, Julius is taken out of his cell by Barry and Macanese. "What the hell?" He gasped.

"Evening, Julius." Barry grinned.

"How'd I get out here?" Julius asked.

"You escaped." Macanese replied.

"If they catch me trying to escape, they're gonna add five years to my sentence." Julius told them.

"Ten, actually." Macanese corrected.

"Unless you tell us where Marcus Stockheimer's next job is gonna be." Barry continued as the alarms started to go at the prison, as they had just realised that Julius escaped. "Oh! Guards will be here any second. I'd start blabbing."

"Okay!" Julius replied. "Okay. It's a TDK and money transfer truck coming from the federal reserve bank in St. Louis. Supposed to be millions. Delivery is around 8:00. That's all I know. I swear."

"That's right now." Macanese pointed out, then Macanese and Barry zoomed out of there as soon as the guards and their dogs were walking up to the gate.

"Hey! Hey, what about me?" Julius called into the darkness.

Somewhere else, Shawna had just stolen some money from the transfer truck and reappeared back in the car with Clay. "Let's go." Shawna ordered. Just as Clay turns and goes into a tunnel, Barry and Macanese arrive. They both stood in the middle of the road, so Clay had to stop the car. "I got this." She said to Clay as she teleported out of the car and in front of Barry and Macanese. "Why the hell do you two care what we do? Are you guys cops or something? Something."

"Something." Barry smirked and then a fight broke out and they were evenly matched. Shawna kept teleporting, so it was harder to fight her. Shawna then teleported as Clay almost ran over to two speedsters, but Barry zoomed out of the way and the car crashed into Macanese's cybernetic body, leaving a good sized dent in the front of the car.

"Barry, Macanese, remember: she cannot teleport if she cannot see. Limit her field of vision." Wells reminds them.

Barry looks down at the wrenches on the floor and looks back at Macanese. "You thinking what I'm thinking." Barry smiled.

"I'm a telepath, of course I am." Macanese smirks. "But I'm also a technopath so…" She trails off and closes her eyes and then all the lights flicker and go out before she opens them up again. Now the only lights left were the ones on Clay's car and Macanese's body. But Macanese's quickly dim down so that they are barely visible and Barry broke the one's on the car, leaving the tunnel pitch black. Macanese looked around and saw that only Shawna was left.

"He left me." Shawna complained.

Later at STAR Labs, Shawna was in a cell in the pipeline. She tries to escape by using her powers but it doesn't work. "Is there any way she can teleport out of this?" Barry asked.

"It's impossible." Cisco answered. "It's one-way glass. It's mirrored on the inside. No one dangerous is ever gonna get out of this thing again."

"Shawna." Atchaco said. "Clay left you. He's out there, and you're in here."

"You know what the crazy thing is? I still love him." Shawna admits.

"Cisco." Barry says, turning to the man. Cisco nods and closes the door of the pipeline and they start walking away.

"Crazy is right." Caitlin told them.

"Some people are worth being crazy for." Barry smiled as he looked over at Atchaco, who smiled back.

"I'm sorry if I was a bit of a drunken mess the other night." Caitlin apologised.

"Actually, it was pretty fun." Atchaco admitted.

"Yeah, it was." Caitlin smiled.

"You know what?" Barry questioned. "I think everybody's been right about you and me. Both of us have been hung up on people for way too long."

"Even though it worked out for you." Caitlin replied.

"That's beside my point." Barry said.

"If what Cisco says is true, that Ronnie merged with Martin Stein, then he's not alive anymore. Time for me to move on. Find someone new to be crazy about." Caitlin told them and they chuckle.

"All right, well. We'll see you tomorrow." Atchaco said.

"Yes, sure. Bye." Caitlin replied.

"Bye." Barry said as Atchaco waved.

Later, Iris was walking down the street when a sudden gust of wind hit her. She turns into an alley to see The Flash Thunder standing there. "That's for you." Barry said. "We thought maybe you could help us out, if you're willing."

"This is about the breakout at Iron Heights." Iris noticed.

"Clay Parker. He's still on the loose, and we need to catch him." Macanese replied.

"Why are you two giving this to me?" Iris asked.

"'Cause you're a good reporter." Barry told her. "And the only one we know." Then they both zoomed out of there.

"You're not the only one who's fast." Iris smirked as she looked at the picture she had taken of them and smiled.

Later, Atchaco was at her apartment when there was a knock on her door. She answers it to see Barry holding some flowers.

"You got me some flowers." Atchaco smiled.

"Yes I did." Barry agreed. "I know this is just a lunch date but that's a date. I wanted to make it special.

"Well, they are very beautiful. Thank you." Atchaco replies as she walks over to her kitchen, grabs a vase and fills it up with some water before putting the flowers inside.

"So, just to let you know. You know that reporter Linda Park?" Barry questions.

"Yeah, she works with Iris." Atchaco answered.

"Well, I ran into her at the bar the other day, and I may have told her you were my girlfriend." Barry admitted.

"Really." Atchaco said with a smile on her face.

"Listen, I know we're barely going on a date, and I don't even know if you want to be my girlfriend at all." Barry said.

"Barry." Atchaco sighed. "It's okay, of course I do."

"Of course what?" Barry wondered. "You want to be my girlfriend?"

"Yes." Atchaco cheered as she hugged Barry and he spun her around. "You know we are going to be late, right?"

"Not if we run." Barry told her." Atchaco laughs and they were out the door in a blink of an eye.

Later, Barry goes to see his father at Iron Heights.

"So an actual date this time." Henry smiles. "Good for you."

"We also kind of made it official too." Barry admitted. "I asked her to be my girlfriend."

"Really." Henry wondered.

"She said yes." Barry grinned.

"Finally." Henry laughed. "I'm really happy for you. Hey. You see this?" Henry holds up a newspaper showing a picture of The Flash and Thunder on the front page of Central City Picture News.

"No. I haven't." Barry replied.

"The Flash and Thunder. I saw them once. In here. Watched them save Joe's life." Henry recalled.

"Joe told me about that. I guess he was lucky." Barry said.

"Hm. Lucky Joe." Henry replied. "The strangest thing. I get roughed up by Julius, end up in here. Next thing I know, Julius is caught trying to escape, claiming The Flash and Thunder broke him out. Won't be seeing Julius for a long time now. Guess I'm lucky too, huh?"

"Dad. If I was The Flash, don't you think that you'd be the first to know about it?" Barry wondered.

"Yeah." Henry smiled. "Well, if The Flash were my son, I'd tell him a few things. First off, I'd tell him it's a dangerous world, so be careful. Then I'd tell him to look out for his girl and that he's a hero. And he's saving a lot of lives with the help of his friend. But the most important thing for him to know, I feel, is that his father's proud of him."

In the sewers, two workers walk in. "Power grid's been going haywire in this sector." One says.

"The system's so antiquated." The second one replies as they walk into another part.

They look at the wall to see writing engraved to the stone surface. It was a name, the same name and it kept on getting repeated. That name was GRODD. Suddenly they heard growling in the distance. "Whoa. What was that?" One asks. They walked into the tunnel and saw nothing but darkness but when they turned away a giant figure came out of it. The two workers got harsley pulled back by Grodd as he snarled at them. One of the workers tried to make a run for it, but let's just say that running from Grodd was the biggest mistake that the worker ever made.

And their last mistake.
