Fighting a boss?, Run, There are also treasures here?

[Adrea POV],

I thought I could put up with it for a while, but my god, I stink.

Although this area is entirely made up of mountains and rocks, there are still traces of green in it. Indicating that some areas may be covered with plants or at least show signs of having them.

If I can find a place like that, I should be able to find a water source as well.

I need to get this dirt out of my body because it's killing me with its stench.

As I descended the mountain, I was on the lookout for monsters who might want to ambush me.

Fortunately, I was able to easily get off the mountain.

Unfortunately, when you don't look for trouble, it finds you.

As soon as I stepped off the mountain and onto the ground, I realized I'd been deceiving myself by believing I wasn't being followed.

Turning to face the ambusher with an 'I know you're there' expression on my face, a two-meter-tall red coyote appeared from behind a rock, seemingly out of thin air.

When I saw this, my pupils narrowed.

I muttered, "Don't tell me it has invisibility."

Also, it's level. When I sensed its level, my eyes shrank even more.

Level 40.

I believe I'm dealing with a boss here.

'Why, why, why?' Why do I have to deal with something 20 levels higher than me? I changed my stance to combat as I shed silent tears to the heavens.

Without even waiting for a signal, I withdrew shadow from my inventory, activated my aura and mixed it with Dark ki, and wrapped it around my sword.

With a war cry, I slashed the sword horizontally, sending a straight line of dark ki to the coyote.

But, as expected, coyotes are fast runners, even in their monster form.

It easily dodged my attack, changed directions, and ran towards me with explosive speed.

Without hesitation, I turned around and ran.

There's no way I can defeat that monster, and even though I've never fought a level forty monster before, I can tell that the coyote-looking monster is stronger than some of the monsters at the same level.

And what I'm doing now is a futile attempt to buy myself some pitiful time.

'Damn, it's been a long time since I've been bullied like this,' I cursed as I ran, remembering how I began in this world.

It was a rabbit at first, then a griffin, and now it's a coyote.'

'Why does it feel like monsters are my greatest adversary in this world?' I thought.

'F**k,' I thought as I sensed something coming at me fast and barely avoiding it with 'blink.'

Looking back as I ran, I saw the place where I had been before, on fire and any sign of green life burning to ashes.

'Gulp', seeing the scene and sweat rushing down my face, I swallowed my spit hard and ran even faster as my life depended on it.

Well, my life did depend on it.

.....

After a few minutes of running, dodging, and narrowly escaping death's embrace, I began to wonder how I was still alive.

Even though I can't die in the ancient world, that doesn't mean I want to die when there's something I can do to prevent it.

Just as I was thinking of this, I smelled something fragrant and came to a halt.

It was only a split second later that I realized I had stopped charging when a monster was chasing me.

Frightened, I turned my head slowly and looked at the coyote-like monster chasing me, but its eyes were unfocused or rather, ignoring me.

It twitched its nose desperately, trying to find out where the fragrant came from, completely ignoring me, which I appreciated.

It immediately took off after locating a direction.

'Phew,' I sighed, relieved.

'But why did it run in that manner, and where did it run to?' I pondered.

I should be relieved that the threat has passed, but my decisions are conflicted.

'Should I follow the monster or not?' I thought.

As I noticed the monster's silhouette moving away from me, I decided to bite the bullet and follow it.

.....

After a few minutes of running with the monster who completely ignored me, I confirmed that my decision to follow the monster was correct because we encountered several monsters who simply ignored us and kept running.

Monsters far more powerful than the coyote I had just escaped from.

It didn't take long for the surroundings to be overrun with monsters who simply ignored themselves and ran forward.

Fortunately, we eventually arrived at our destination.

'Wow,' I exclaimed in awe.

A Golden fruit dozens of meters above the ground radiated with light in front of us.

'That's a treasure,' I murmured quietly.

"The birth of a natural treasure," I said, looking around at the powerful drooling monster and the treasure again, thinking, "I never knew there were treasures over here too."
