Chapter 11 Chakra blades

Kin arrived at the doorstep of the address that Azuma gave him.

"Knock knock." he knocked but no one comes out.

"Knock knock." he tries again this time a fair skin woman with long black untamed hair who possesses red eyes opened the door.

"I am looking for Sarutobi Azuma." Kin said.

"This is not what you think," she said.

Why are you opening the door when you are not in your house, Kurenai you idiot?

She cursed to herself inside her mind.

She looked at the boy who covered his eyes with a headband as she sighed in relief thinking that he might not know her.

Kin who realized who she is from her chakra noticed that her heartbeat returned to normal. He decided that he should not dive his nose into things that do not concern him as he asked.

"I am looking for Sarutobi Azuma."

"Oh, he is not here right now. I am only here because he is gone to..... "She tried to lie but it was too obvious.

"If you saw him can you please ask him to come to the training ground?" Kin said.

"I will," she said as she closed the door.

"Is he gone?" Azuma asked her.

"I think so," she replied.

"Phew, that was close. Do you think he noticed?" Azuma asked.

"Why are we hiding about this? We can just tell everyone. That way we don't have to encounter this kind of situation." Kurenai said.

"I want to but please just wait for a little longer," Azuma said as he kissed her forehead.

The truth is that he has a bounty on his head that he accumulated during his rouge ninja years. And he didn't want you to put her in danger if someone like Akatsuki or an S-rank missing ninja come to collect his bounty.

"I am off to the training ground," Azuma said as he put on his ninja pouch as he lights up a cigarette.

"Lady Tsunade said that you were a strange one so let's see what you got," Azuma said as he pulled out his trench knives.

"Now you pull out your primary weapon," he said.

"I don't have a primary weapon." Kin replied.

"Ah, you are that kind of student," he said as he scratch his head.

"Then you can use your kunai. Don't worry this is a mock battle. I will try my best not to harm you." Azuma said as he infused his trench knives with chakra.

"And you should pull up your headband from your eyes."

He wanted to say that a weapon with chakra infused is stronger than the standard weapon before he started teaching how this works.

But he was surprised when he saw that the boy mimic him by just sensing how he used his chakra.

"Oi. Oi. This is not part of the plan." He said as he smiled.

Kin was surprised as Azuma appears in front of him as he landed an uppercut to his face.

"You have talent kid. This is why I am taking this seriously." He said.

"What speed." Kin said as he was forced to back off a little as he does not want to leave an opening.

However, Azuma straight up rushed to him in a boxing stance.

Kin tries to attack him with chakra kunai but it didn't land on him. Instead, it cut off the ash of the cigarette that he was smoking.

His head movements and his leg movement are too advanced for Kin to predict what he was supposed to do.

"Hey is that all you got. To be honest I am quite surprised. Your skills might give even a seasoned chunin some trouble." Azuma said as he complimented Kin.

Then kin pulled his head protector down to his neck as he revealed his new dojutsu.

"How did you?" Azuma asked as he was shocked by the revelation.

"Even I don't know how but it seems that I was able to evolve my dojutsu just by looking at other dojutsu," he said.

Then he appeared in front of Azuma just like how he did against him as Kin went in for an uppercut. Azuma however was able to predict this as Kin was just replicating what he did so he countered with a kick that didn't do much damage but distance the two as Kin was forced to move away.

Azuma tried to go in for another combo but Kin copied the exact movements that he made during the combo which caused him to counter everything that the boy threw at him. Which he was able to as he knocked away the Kunai that the boy was holding in his hand.

"Checkmate," he said as he pointed a blade at kin's throat as the boy fell to the ground while sitting.

"Are you alright?" Azuma said as he helped pick the boy up.

"Yeah." Kin said.

"If I am being honest I was planning to totally beat you up to show that there are still many who are stronger than you. But you surprised me." Azuma said.

"But I lost."Kin replied.

"You did well. You gave all your best and lost against someone who is stronger than you so what is the shame in that." Azuma said.

"And In this battle, I have an overwhelming advantage. First I am fighting a genin in the area that I am known for and second I think you might have a better chance if this is an all-out battle instead of a pure taijutsu one."

Azuma said as he put his trench knives back into his ninja pouch.

"Are you not going to teach me?" Kin asked.

"Wait for me at this place tomorrow at 8. I think you have done enough for today." Azuma said.

"And come with me. I will treat will breakfast for your hard work." Azuma said as he drop his cigarette to the ground and kill the fire with a stomp.

"I know a good place where you can get the best Ramen in the Village," he said.
