Chapter 23 The one who called himself Uchiha Madara

It was raining heavily. But a man wearing an orange mask with a black robe accompanied him.

As he walked toward a run-down apartment where the boy with the golden eyes resides.

"Who are you?" The boy who was already standing in front of him in a blink of an eye asked.

"... I am Uchiha Madara surely you would have heard of me." He said as he stepped into the apartment.

"I am here to recruit you into my organization. The Akatsuki." Madara said.

"How do you pass through the leaf village's security," Kin asked.

"That is not what matters. We no. The Akatsuki could use someone like you." He said as he took a seat.

"I am not going to betray my village for a mercenary group." Kin said to Madara.

"Your village? That's a strange word. Unlike me, you aren't even from here." Madara said to kin.

"Leave. I don't want to talk to people that did a background check on me." Kin said to Madara.

"But the princess that you serve under also did a background check on everyone in the village including you," Madara told Kin.

"..." Kin stayed silent without attempting to refute his words knowing what the man said was true.

"I want you to think carefully and do not disappoint me if I come and find you again," Madara said as he revealed his Mangekyou Sharingan. Then a black void similar to the one that Kakashi used appears on his body as he was sucked away.

".... So that's Madara. He was quite different from what I thought him to be." Kin said to himself.

In a place known as Amegakure(Village Hidden in the rain)

"So you returned." A man with short spiky orange hair similar to Naruto's hairstyle and possessing a dojutsu called Rinnegan. He also bore six piercings, a metal bar through each ear, three studs through the right side of his upper nose and one spike stud on each end of the bottom lip. He was wearing a long black robe with red clouds, a red interior and a chin-high collar.

He also possessed a ring with Kenji for Zero(rei) on his right thumb.

He was accompanied by a woman with short straight blue hair. She possesses grey eyes and lavender eyelashes. She also wore a smaller attire than the Orange hair man however instead of a kanji Rei, her ring possesses kanji for white(byaku, Haku).

The man was named pain the leader of the Akatsuki and the woman is his follower, Konan. A founding member of the Akatsuki.

"So did you get the boy." Pain asked.

"I did not manage to persuade the boy. He was already too invested in the Village." Madara said.

"Did you really need him? Our plan is already in motion. Adding another member at a time like this would be." Konan said to Madra before she was cut off by him.

"He could assist us in capturing the Nine tail in the future. After all, we could not trust Itachi with our plans considering his brother is involved with the Jinchuriki that we are supposed to capture." Madara said to Pain and Konan.

"And the eyes that allowed him to copy other dojutsu. He is too valuable of an asset to let go." Madara told the two.

"Eyes that enable someone to copy dojutsu?" Konan said in surprise.

"You don't think." Konan continues.

"He might be the true reincarnation of the sage of six paths," Madara said.

"I see." Pain replied. His face was still emotionless as ever but his dry and cold voice somehow sounds like he was relieved.

"If we can get that boy to our side we can proceed with our Eye of moon plans even faster than it initially is," Madara said. Although he was hiding his face with his mask it was obvious that he was smiling under the mask.

At that time in the hidden leaf village.

"It's here. Let's see the Uchiha incident. Uchiha Itachi, an Anbu Captain and one of the most talented ninjas of his generation decided to betray his clan and killed all of the members of the clan apart from his brother Uchiha Sasuke. The military of the Uchiha was unable to prevent the attack by Itachi because of outside interference. The village does everything in its power to prevent the attack but it was no use as the outside force that helped Itachi was too powerful. It was suspected to be one of the members of the Akatsuki because of Itachi's later affiliation with the organization."

"As I suspected there is too little information on the incident." Kin said as he pulled out a document detailing the information about the dissolution of Root.

"Root. A branch of Konoha's Anbu training subdivision. Under Danzo Shimura. One of the important figures of the village. It was rumoured to be specialized in assassination and Information gathering. The group took orders directly from Danzo under the Hokage's supervision. The group was disbanded under the third Hokage's order as the assassination and information gathering were no longer necessary in the peaceful era." Kin read aloud the documents.

Kin believes that the two documents were forged only to look good for the village and nothing more than misinformation but with the recent information that he comes across his theory started to make even more sense than just a random assumption.

"If Danzo's root was disbanded after the Uchiha's downfall it probably has some relation to the incident. And if I am not hallucinating and Danzo really possessed Numerous Sharingan it means that he must be the mastermind behind the Clan's downfall." Kin said to himself as he reached his own conclusion.

"Itachi being a former leader of an Anbu division have no reason to kill his own clan unless it was direct orders from one of the authorities from the village. Sharingan? Wait a minute. It must be here somewhere." He said as he started flipping a book that details the final fight between Senju Hashirama and Uchiha Madra.

"It cant be Danzo is planning to control the Nine-Tails." Kin said with an angry expression on his face.
