"During the time when Tia was off duty…" the tiger man continued. "She was nowhere to be found in town. Of course, this led to us suspecting that she took some illegal quests."

"I see. Continue," I said as my pencil kept writing.

"And it turned out to be true. There was a report that said she was spotted wandering in the Hatfa Dungeon. Alone."

"A single man's claim couldn't be trusted, so, we dispatched a group of four C-rank adventurers to investigate the dungeon and see whether she was there. But they never returned."

"What?" I reflexively looked at him. My pencil stopped.

"Two days later, another group of adventurers, four B-rank adventurers were sent as a search party. They, too, went missing."
